EXCELLANT value for money. Room was clean & tidy, with tea & coffee available. Enough towels for 2 people, a heated towel rail that was already ON when we arrived, was nice to have pre-warmed towels. Facilities very good & price amazing. Some road noise was experienced, but did not spoil our stave. Would also recommend the the full breadfast, at just £5 each, was wnoderful!!
Staff very helpful and problems sorted quickly.
Mixed views on this hotel. The reception staff couldn't have been nicer. My room was very comfortable (though the shower leaked like most hotel showers!!) and the free wi-fi was very fast and easy to use. The restaurant was old and not very inviting, which is not great in an area that is not well catered for by anything other than fast food.
Breakfast was excellent. Friendly service and good selection. Hotel room was ok but a bit tired looking and out of date. Also bed mattress dipped in the middle so not the most comfortable night sleep.
Excellent value for money. Would stay again.
Excellent food good service, a really great location for visiting attractions in the area. Good motorway access and easy to find. The only down side it's a little tired and the decor needs updating otherwise no complaints. Would definately use this hotel again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and that made all the difference.
The hotel and staff were good, however, do check your booking as everyone I travelled with had had some problem with their booking.
A few things that I found bad one was the furniture in the rooms. The chairs are old and have collapsed in the middle so that you sit in a hole in the chair. Some of the carpets in the passage ways are old and frayed. The food was of a reasonable standard but there was no fruit yoghurt, only plain to have for breakfast. The fried eggs sat in a pool of oil on the plate you served from.
This hotel is very good value for money. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Breakfast is first class and is buffet style. Only draw back of the hotel is that it is on split levels and has a lot of stairs. Other than that I would recommend it
Esay access to the M5 and well placed for where I needed to be for a couple of days. Friendly staff.
I had booked and paid for two nights, but when I arrived the booking was only for one night. Because I had all my paperwork with me this was very soon sorted out (the hotel took photo copies of all my paperwork) If I had not taken all this information with me it might have been a different story. I had stayed at the same Hotel before it changed hands I do not feel that there has been any improvement which is a great pity. The staff were pleasent enough but I think it lacked something.
Altough the cleanliness of the toilet & shower room needed a bit more care and attention i.e. the toilet was dirty even though it had a hygene inspection tape across it, we enjoyed our stay the staff were friendly, comfortable beds and a very nice breakast slection to start the day off.
bathroom very small and certainly needed updating
Unlike most hotels today - they change the soap and towels every day! Food was good (try the curry from the bar snack menu) and restaurant service was polite and courteous
absolutely 100% satisfaction, would highly recomend a+++ and will use again.
Very surprising hotel. A pleasure to stay at, excellent dining facilities, tasty breakfast and very pleasant and helpful staff All in all a very enjoyable stay.
The man on reception was called Matt, he was very helpful and efficient, despite the problems caused by a mistake with our booking.
This hotel was previously under the corus name -- I had decided to never return following poor hygiene, so-called non smoking room I had been allocated and lack of staff. What a change this time !!!! The staff were friendly, the place was clean and the price for a single person staying in a twin room was better than possible to book with the hotel direct. [Your website]- top marks due!
On the whole we were quite satisfy with the hotel. The serivice was good and the receptionists including the dinning staffs were polite and helpful However, it would be nice if there is a fan or air condition and mini bar in the room in a hot humid weather. Don't mind going back to that hotel again in the future
