Hotel is relatively basic but good value. Location good for Rueil and part-way between Paris and Versailles for visitors.
Staff were very helpful however hotel is a little too far out of Paris to be convenient for sight seeing.
I found the hotel to be good, but have one comment as to the price they were charging for a continental breakfast. The price in question was 16 euros which I found to be excessive and I dont think anybody could eat 16 euros worth. I would expect to pay that amount for an evening meal and not breakfast.
Quite a walk to go to RER station, but comfortable and quiet. Nice French breakfast
This is in a quiet spot and best suited if one has a car in Paris. Otherwise it is a 25 minute walk (20 minutes by bus) to the station plus a 25 minute train ride to the city. It's near a lovely village and great value with an excellent bathroom, TV, bed and fridge. You will need to buy a zone 1-4 travel pass.
The breakfast we pretty good (bread, cheese, meat, pastries, cereal, juices) and included in the price. The room was small, but nice, with a minifridge.
Takes a while to get into the city from this hotel, but a very nice place to stay (especially for the price).
As the hotel is located in the centre of a beautiful suburb of paris, it is a place to stay in a rather different way. It is necessary to become familiar with the possibilities to get there by public transport from the centre of paris. In every respect a recommendable place to stay!
Location is lovely if you want to experience life outside of Paris. If you require a City Hotel, this is not the one to choose (It's a good half hour journey to the centre of Paris). Local people, bars, restaurants, shops etc are all good and cheaper than the city. Rooms are basic but clean and the staff are helpful. The bar could do with a bit more stock and the cocktail mixer was more of an alcohol experimentalist..but it was "different". I had a great holiday there.
Nice comfortable hotel. Happy with our stay there.
Nice hotel. Takes a while to get to by public transport from the centre of Paris (RER, then bus) - ok if you have a car, or are familiar with public transport in Paris. In a very quiet district.
The rooms were very comfortable and nicer than we expected. Also very quiet. The reception was helpful and attentive. Chateau Malmaison was not far (by car). Rueil-Malmaison has a nice centre. After 10 p.m. take bus 144 from Grande Arche and not the RER; it stops around the corner of the hotel. We recommend this hotel heartly.
Although a little way from the nearest Metro line, it is a pleasant walk through the town and once at the station, the line is frequent and direct to the centre of Paris. A lovely hotel, with top 3rd floor rooms highly recommended. Good breakfasts too.
