There was a bit of a run on the buffet breakfast. Apparently a deal that weekend. The staff were working really hard, however, they didn't have time to keep things filled - juices, milk, cutlery and the like. A tip for management perhaps! Your staff were friendly, efficient and hard working.
This is great place to stay in Bunbury--suggest you book a room with ocean views-the sunsets can be spectacular
Great Hotel. One of the best I have stayed in. mattress and pillows needed upgrading but apart from that it was excellent. I would definitely recommend it
Great hotel, most impressed with interior surrounds and pool area. Young reception staff most helpful and pleasant it was a pleasure to be served by them. All in all a very nice stay in Bunbury.
Secure car parking seems to be a problem. My car suffered an attempted break in the undercover car park causing $600 worth of damage.
we found this hotel very good considering its age but above this its services, location and price wise very good.we are defenitly coming back.
I enjoyed my stay. I felt the rooms and furniture were really quite old. The shower was small and didnt have good water force due to the head being so old. The staff were polite and helpful. The cleaning service was fantastic. Checking in and out was quick and efficient.
a great place to stay, bueatiful views if the room faces the ocean, Bunbury is a great place to visit
I felt a little sorry for the receptionist who was trying to answer phones, check people in & out and take deliveries at the same time. I realise the cost of wages ,but sometimes you have t weigh it all up. otherwise a good stay, food good too.
the hotel and staff where fantastic the location is great. we had room service which was very good, food very good ,service very good.
The quality of this hotel is debatable - the rating is really more in keeping with that of a three star rather than 4. For an older hotel such as this to maintain its 4-star rating, it needs to upgrade the interior and some elements of the rooms, along with the lukewarm service. It was good value at the 43% discounted rate we paid for a standard room but we would not have paid $200= per night for this one.
Sunday morning, half empty hotel and they enforced a 10am checkout, if I wanted 11am or 12 I had to pay an extra $50! Purely on this I wouldnt stay there again. View was nice from the balcony, good location to Blues Club.
Hotel in a great location for pubs and restaurants. Book breakfast online as you pay $5.00 more at the hotel!
Very very outdated. The bathrooms especially could do with a complete overhaul. Dirty dirty grouting and tiles, pink flappy shower curtain, hot water that comes and goes every 5 seconds. Very unappealing dirty concrete balcony. TV remote refused to operate, probably flat batteries.. but couldnt even adjust volume directly on the set. Would I stay there again... no. Hotel looks like it is stuck in the 1970's
We have stayed at this hotel several times over many years and have always received good quality service. The convenient location is a factor as you can walk to most areas of Bunbury from the hotel.
Left coffee cups in passage for 2 days, if room was not discounted the=n to pay $200 for room would have been too much. Could have ben some information on TV Channels and also curreent programes on Foxtell what we had was 2 months ago. Would not go back again willingly.
Minibar price are overrated. I paid for a small bottle of Diat Pepsi $5.00. Betetr hotels in Perth or Sydney charge less.
Quality Hotel Lord Forrest Bunbury had great service, clean facilities and a good price would recomend anyone to stay there.
