"This hotel provided a delicious breakfast and the staff, particularly the restaurant staff, were friendly and courteous. We also enjoyed the lovely pool and jacuzzi. Our triple room was comfortable and quite spacious, but on the downside we had no cold water - try brushing your teeth & inserting contact lenses using scalding hot water! - and, worse, nothing was done after we reported it. Our TV was faulty: the screen was so dark as to be unwatchable and there was a visibly soiled blanket on the foot of one of the beds. An unusual experience - we have never had anything other than praise for hotels booked on this website." - Avril Brown
"Stayed 13+14 Sept 07. Put us in a smoking room at first. Changed to family room. Damp in corner of room. Bathroom smelled - shower curtain was rank! At night hot water from cold tap - even in toilet. Shower too low and too close to wall. Single ply toilet paper. Dark TV about 1 foot from floor. Bed only 6' long. Etc.
