Since Inchcolm is a heritage building the rooms are somewhat quaint but pleasant. The hotel is very close to the Brisbane CBD. While we did not have dinner the continental breakfast was good. The staff are very helpful.

Lovely character hotel, good location, unique atmosphere.
Great place to stay. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff at check-in. Old world charming exterior. Luggage room to store luggage after check-out. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Inchholm is just a short walk down a hill to Adelaide Street and the centre of Brisbane. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.
Nice little hotel in a great location. Within 5 minutes walking distance to the Brisbane CBD and central railway station. This hotel has a charm all of it's own. An older establishment, yet clean and excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
Quaint and old fashioned like an old Club and very clean but felt a bit lacking. Restaurant however is first class and a bit of a secret.
Location, style in room and facilities were good. I liked being able to close off the kithen bench to make the room look neater. Very easy to get to CBD and public transport. Airco was quiet and efficient. Overall cleanliness was excellent, although on one day only my bed was made, but no cleaning or refills of coffe soap, etc. Would definitely stay again. Lovely old fashioned lift with inner metal cage-stlye door made taking the lift with luggage a hassle, so don't do it on your own if you have any kind of handicap in movement.
The hotel is very old and I was quite irritated with the ancient lift. With all the options available in Brisbane of the same price range, I would not go back to the Inchcolm.
Room Air conditioner totally inadequate for the large room size. Woke in a sweat both nights Needs supplementary ceiling or stand alone fans Restaurant fantastic, but not open on Sunday night. As this was the reason I chose to stay at this hotel, I was very disappointed.
Nicely kept hotel with real old world feel.
Decent hotel, and I have no particular complaints. It bills itself as 4 star though, when it's no more than 3.5 star at best.
A majestic hotel with lots of history and original wood. The lift is from a bygone era- an open cage with the two doors that need opening. The hotel is small, very clean and quiet and one of the cheapest in Brisbane, especially for how close to the CBD it is. A little bit inconvenient to get to in a car or taxi but over the road from the train station and an easy 5 minute walk to the city. Will definitely stay again.
This hotel is has a great location and represents great value for money. You would need to pay more than twice the money in nearby hotels to get the same quality of room. I have stayed in Brisbane many times and in diferrent big names hotels but the Inchcolme beats them all! The staff are excellent. Absolutely recommend it - no wait, if I do that you will book it out and I never be able to get in!
We stayed at the Incholm for one night at the beginning of May and the hotel is alright for one night, the location is good and service on the front desk was good too however, the room was very dated (we were in the 'modern' bit)and the bathroom was dirty, we could still splats on the tiles where some little visitors had obviously been squished some time ago which has obviously tarnished our view of the hotel... So having said that if the rooms were a little cleaner and bathroom a lot cleaner we would probably stay here again, if not just for the location and friendly staff.....
We really enjoyed our brief stay at the Inchcolm. It was great to find a hotel with such character at such a reasonable price. No hesitation in recommending it to others.
Lovely olde world feeling, beautiful silky oak furniture, well maintained, comfortable and very quiet room. The restaurant Seasalt downstairs served divine food that lived up to it's reputation. A very good inner city experience and a nice change from the ultra modern hotels we usually stay in.
Due to unfortunate circumstances I didn't get to enjoy the The Incholm Brisbane as I would of liked to. If you're a person who enjoys good history and likes to go back in time. The Incholm is the place for you. The renovations are brilliant and it was enjoyable to lay back and think of how it used to be a doctor's and specialists building. Service and staff are exceptional and go out of there way for you. Thank you Robert and Karen Waha-Rai Brisbane Australia
Excellent setting. Lovely atmosphere in room. Kitchenette well equipped. Will definitely revisit this quaint establishment.
This little hotel just oozed charm. The rooms and doors have lovely old silky oak features as well as having an original "cage" elevator. There is even a small rooftop pool. It was a lovely surprise all-in-all.
This is a lovely unique hotel which is well worth a stay. The history provided on both the hotel and the individual room was very interesting.
