Getting there:Coming from Melbourne or Canberra (Parkes), we are the first hotel on the left hand side. From Sydney (Wellington) follow the signs south to Parkes or Western Plains Zoo, we are the last hotel on the right hand side next to the Royal Dubbo Golf Course. Coming from all other directions follow the signs to Western Plains Zoo and we are next to the Royal Dubbo Golf Course on your right, 800 meters before the Zoo turn off.

The lanterns around the pool at night are really classy. The free internet is good and the staff are helpful. Many people apparently have problems with their GPS as it is a continuation of the main highway so be warned.

We weer happy with the stay. However, some food containers were empty when we go for the breakfast even half an hour before scheduled closed time.
I was very pleased with the hotel during our stay and could not fault anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and the breakfast was delicious. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel nor would I hesitate in staying there again, should I be in the area. Well done to Management and staff for a wonderful experience. Thankyou very much.

A good location on the edge of dubo, not on the main road. Well appointed rooms with everything nice and clean with good friendly service.

The website says this hotel is 4 star however the tourist centre in Dubbo has it listed as 3 star which is closer to the truth.

Quite a clean and simple establishment. Very friendly staff. I had 2 rooms booked for my group. Spacious grounds with tennis courts give you plenty of room for the children to play, or to stretch your own legs. Unfortunately, the heated spa at the pool was not working for our 2 night stay. However, the pool (unheated) is well positioned near the restaurant giving you a beatiful view when gazing out the window at breakfast or dinner. Very nice lighting. Restaurant was a highlight. Very well taken care of with plenty of choice and good meals, morning or night. Nice simple bar. Positioned only a very short distance to western plains zoo was handy. Highway quite close by has a constant stream of trucks during the night which can be a bit noisy if you leave the window open. But as we had the windows shut, they couldn't even be heard. Price was probably a little more than would be expected for this standard though.
