Quality Inn Hotel Porto

Perfect location on top of one of the many the hills in this town. When you arriv, don´t go to Sao Bento,the slope from there is really steep!

Good central location with friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Pity about TV channels- only English speaking channels were CNN and Bloomsberg. Cnn went off on first evening but I'm now hooked on commodity prices!!!!!!!

This hotel was clean and modern inside. It has an excellent position near to the shopping area and within walking distance of the historic centre by the river. The staff were helpful and the breakfasts were good. Parking was available at a nearby carpark. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent location - I would recommend this hotel strongly. Some rooms are bigger than other so maybe ask to see your room first as stayed there twice & the 2nd time the room wasn't as big.

Have stayed twice now, no complaints, the right location. Easy to get to by Train, metro from Airport, Trams at front door(but not at night).Lots of good food locally the staff were very informative.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Would recommend this hotel but remove the the plastic sheet on the bed for a good nights sleep.

I've stayed at this hotel twice and highly recommend it. The location is excellent, very central. The rooms are perfectly adequate with air conditioning and facilities are good. I found it very comfortable on both occasions and great value for money.

The rooms and the bathroom are very small but the excellent location, good service and good quality/price ratio make up for the shortcomings.

This hotel provided us with fairly basic, but comfortable accommodation and was good value for the price. It has a good central location right next to the main shopping streets and is even within within walking distance of the port lodges on the other side of the river. Also, overnight parking in Porto is not as easily available as in other cities. An advantage of the Quality Inn Porto is that it has an arrangement with a garage across the square where your car can be parked securely for only 6.5 euros per night.

All Porto hotels are at the top of steep hills so be prepared to do some stiff walking. Hotel was clean, very central and well signposted so easy to find. Lot of building work on roads right outside the hotel but it will be a new piazza to the church when finished and will improve the immediate area which to one side is a bit run-down. There is a giant disco opposite but we had no noise problems at all. Overall it was fine but get a front view, it is not expensive and the back is a bit grim.

Be sure to ask for a non-smoking floor if needed (I think that floors 3+4 are non smoking). Balcony room on 5th floor - although smoking was an added bonus as it overlooked the square.

Excellent hotel. Great location and value. A good breakfast and a modern well-equipped room. Would stay here again.

Perfect location, clean and comfortable, plus a great breakfast. Highly recommended. Only drawback is 2 tiny lifts.

Excellent hotel for short city break.......Great location close to river front,main statin,citysquare & good shopping area. A must is the newly built finiculer which is fab also dine at least once in the Majestic cafe.

Great staff and service. The location makes it easy to get to the waterfront.

An excellent budget hotel in the centre of Porto, £40 a night in a twin room with a balcony (although not all rooms have balconies) was superb and everything else was in walking distance! 5-8 minutes walk from the nearest metro stop (Balhao). Recommended.

Good location and standard for a couple of days in Porto for a fist time visitor.

Excellent location right beside the main shopping area and easy walking distance to the train station and river. The staff were very helpful and all spoke english. The hotel itself was clean, cool and nicely decorated. The views from our room were beautiful. I can't say anything negative about this hotel.
