A bit expensive but great location and facilities. Friendly staff, but always seem to have problems with the food here at the in-house restaurant, chef doesn't seem to care. Have stayed here a few times now, only real complaint is the food in restaurant not being up to a 4 star hotel standard.
a quick 2 night stay. lovely spa bath in room, spacious, quiet the first night, bit noisy in the morning the second, but still a positive overall stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely meals there.

Ok for the price
A little bit tired, motel-sort (in a street full of similar drive-in style motels). Tiny outdoor pool (four children fills it up)... We had a driver fetch us from the airport, free internet and breakfast so for the price it was ok! Friendly service.
Enjoy the stay good value for money
We stayed at Pavilions in 2005 and as we were satisfied, we stayed again. The first time we were in a groundfloor studi and the facilites were excellent. This time, we had a upstairs room which had simialar facilities. When we came for a third time, we had a room in the hotel itself and the facilities of micro wave, hotplate and toaster were not there. We would be more specific in our booking in future
Generally, we had a good experience. The en suite was large, and the room size adequate for our needs. There was a mini-fridge. The jacuzzi was nice. But there were also a few negatives: the pool is extremely small (two strokes took me to the other end). The mattress did not provide firm support. The main hotel sign (which is on all night) shone into the room (we had to keep the curtains open somewhat as there was no air conditioning and it was very hot). We received value for money, but the hotel would be vastly overpriced at the "regular" rate.
Not quite in town, but location is adequate. Room was clean and location quiet.
The hotel was pleasant very clean and accomodating , the staff were curtious and helpful. The bedrooms in our 2 bed unit were very small and we found it difficult to open and live out of our cases . I guess this was reflected in the competitive price for the rooms . I would certainly stay again.
Good location for the week we stayed there. Good parking for car and not having to pay for parking as alot of places charge for this.
Quite good Didny stay long enough or use/look at the facilites to comment further
Awesome place to stay. Well looked after by all staff.
A great place to stay
For $80 per night this was very good value, would stay again
This was a very pleasant relaxing stay. Recommend the location and ease of movement round the city from this hotel.
For an overnight stay in Christchurch the Pavilion Hotel is perfectly situated and the price is reasonable.
There were two dirty cups in the room and it took forever for the hot water to run hot in the bathroom but apart from that the room was fine for the discounted price we got through [your website].
Very Friendly Helpful Staff that made you feel Welcomed as soon as you enter Reception. I will always stay with them from now on when I am visiting Christchurch.
