Quality Resort Sails Port Macquarie

Well located property. good views from rooms & restaurant. Good value for mid priced accomodation.

The resort was well looked after and the staff pleasant. The breakfast menu was excellent and no shortage. Unfortunatley the week end we stayed there it was raining and we could not enjoy the out door facilities.

Nice place, very pleasant - a few minor bedding issues which were rectified on request.

Stayed one night, arrived in the dark and left early the next day but the pool looked good, the spa pool was still open. Located opposite several shops. Recommend the Thai restaurant accross the road. Very little hot water for a bath but we did not mention it to staff as we did not have the time so not sure if they could have sorted the problem. Rooms large and airy with private balcony where you could smoke if you wished. Excellent value for money. Did not eat in the restuarant so cannot comment but can say it was not cheap. Would definately stay again and for longer so that we could check out the local area, it looked beautiful.

Nice hotel with great customer service. The counter staff offered us a room on the ground floor so that we need not carry our luggage up the stairs. The heater in our room was not working and the staff offerred to bring in a portable heater to our room so that we need not change to another room. We had a fantastic seafood dinner in a restaurant located just next to the hotel. The hotel's location is good, just opposite a small shopping centre with a 24 hours McDonalds.

Very scruffy grounds. Need to get grounds into order. Rooms OK.

My wife and I were celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and were most impressed with our meals. We loved the location and would not hesitate in going back to Sails Resort in the future.

Average accomodation for the price. Grounds needed attention and was good to see the lawns had been mowen on our return. The second room was far nicer than the first roomn provided.

A very enjoyable stay at this hotel with exceptional front desk staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Outdoor facilities, pool area etc. were of great standard and bar staff were also helpful and friendly. Great stay.

For the price I must say I expected a nicer looking room. At least updated decor would have helped. The small amount of service which was required was quite good.

While the accomodation was fine, the rooms need a bit of a face lift I felt. They seem a little overpriced compared to the qulaity of the room.

Didnt feel it was all that good a hotel from where have stayed in the past 4 stars.

The menu for the restaurant provided in the room directory was quite a lot more extensive than the menu available when we went to the restaurant. All the less expensive meals shown in the room directory were NOT actually available in the restaurant - an expensive surprise. Food was quite good, although steak was over cooked - I requested rare and got medium.

A place to go, just near commodities and in front of the seaside, very nice people working here.

I was very disappointed on arrival, as there was only one person on reception, and that person was on the phone taking a reservation. When I was finaly attended to she was very plesant, did not explain anything about our reservation. This reservation includes or doesn't include breakfast. For x amount you can dine in the restaurant for breakfast. We got our own luggage out of the car and placed it on a trolley, but could not find the lifts and no one can to help us so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Its just little things that make the difference
