Quay Grand Suites Sydney Guest Reviews

4.6 out of 5

Have stayed here 4 times in past 5 years in both units overlooking Circular Key (and Harbour Bridge) and inside units facing Macquaries St out to Park. Very modern and comfortable units and if you pay more for the water facing units over Circular Key it is a great outlook.

We only stayed one night celebrating 25th wedding anniversary. Once staff were aware of our celebration a bottle of champagne was delivered to our rooom which was much appreciated. The service and room was excellent and we will definately be staying again hopefully for a longer period. Thanks again.

The best appartment hotel I've ever stayed at. Amazing location and view from our harbourside balcony. Vallet pafriendly and took us up to our room to get usrking was an extra bonus. All staff were extremely settled in. Beautiful corner spa easily fit two persons and the bedroom, kitchen, loungeroom, bathrooms and balcony were immaculate. Having a stereo that could play iPod/iPhone was also extremely handy for relaxing. We were absolutely spoiled. 10/10.

Could not have been in a better position, near to everything on the waterfront. Our apartment overlooked the gardens, which was lovely,& the apartment had every thing you could need. The staff were friendly & very helpful, also making you feel welcome.

It was wonderful to have a real "apartment" while on vacation. We especially enjoyed the use of the washer/dryer. The location was perfect even though we didn't splurge for the harbour view room. If I had one complaint, it would be that internet access was a bit expensive -- although I found this to be true throughout our two week visit to Australia.

Our thanks to David Board who was unfailingly helpful and kind despite how busy he was. Our booking had us in a garden room rather than a harbour view and this caused a lot of additional work for David who kept assuring us it was no trouble. He is a great asset to your organisation. Our Suite was cleaned beautifully daily by once again lovely pleasant smiling staff. The restaurant great value for money.

The location is brilliant! Pay the extra for a harbour view room if you can. Close to ferries and Circular Quay Train Station, with direct access to/from airport. Double-glazed windows so very quiet when doors are closed, yet you can see all the comings and goings of ferries/boats in the harbour.

The location is perfect with fabulous views and great restaurants, art galleries and shopping on the door step as well as a very efficient metro which takes you to the heart of Sydney in a few minutes; the suites are as the name implies, grand. They are spaceous and very well appointed; expensive (very) but at the end of the day probably worth it for a very special occasson.

Booked this for special birthday and were not disappointed. Although not cheap, worth every penny. Facilities were excellent and position perfect. View was of Harbour Bridge and only couple minutes walk from Opera House. Recommend high floor with balcony overlooking harbour. We were there a week. Pool on small side but OK.

While the location is fantastic it is very noisy due to the ferries and many tourists walking to the Opera House... Service was definitely not 5 star - we checked in late but our room was still not ready and they had forgotten to organise a cot (though they did this pretty promptly once we finally got to the room and realised it wasn't there)...In the evening when we returned from dinner we got stuck outside but couldn't get the attention of any of the service staff inside who were just sitting around chatting and joking with one another. We only managed to get inside as someone was leaving and triggered the doors... Porters were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was fantastic. It was fabulous waking up in the morning with Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge right in front of you. At the night the view is even better with the lights. This was definitely the best hotel we have stayed in and was perfect for a romantic long weekend.
