Getting there:Directions from Airport.................. Drive along George Bolt Memorial Drive, this changes name to Hugh Watt Drive. Take the Queenstown Road off ramp, turn right into Pah Road. Continue driving straight, this road changes name to Manukau Road. As you approach Newmarket, follow the signs to the Gillies Avenue on ramp onto the Northern Motorway. Exit at Nelson Street. As you approach the bottom, turn right onto Wyndham Street, then turn left onto Albert Street. We are at 8 Albert Street on the right-hand side, between the DFS Galleria and The Stamford Plaza.

Was very good except for the fact that the car parking was extra cost -- and was very, very expensive -- other than that all was good.

We arrived a day earlier than our booking and had arranged for our baggage to be stored over-night as we had an over-night stay in Rotorua. We we checked in, our bags were already in our room -- an excellent start. The rooms in the apartment were very clean and tidy. We had an excellent view over the harbour. The only thing we didn't have in the suite was shower caps.
Stayed here before and will stay again as its a nice hotel and great location. Parking however is very expensive at this hotel, more than most other hotels when you are already a guest.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Due to strong winds our flight into Auckland was delayed and we arrived at Quay West at around 3am, so they parked our car for us so we could head up to bed sooner. The next morning as we obviously slept in a bit, the kitchen helped with personal service despite it being after their usual closing time for breakfast. I have my wife and son with me and we all really enjoyed our stay.
I/we have stayed here three times over the last few months and find the staff knowledgable and very friendly and the suites excellent. Will happily stay there again particularly if my meetings etc. are near the Viaduct or lower end of Queen Street.
Fantastic views, wonderful large balconies which is fantastic - great layout - great location with food hall across the road and central, highly recommend!
Perfect location as it is close to the port as well as the shopping strip. Being self contained was an added bonus.
We enjoyed the experience immensely and being able to book a 5* room off this site was possibly a once in a life time treat. We particularly liked the pool on level 5 and made good use of it.

Spacious and well-appointed studio apartment. Great city location. Would certainly stay there again.
Internet facilities below par
This is the best Apartment Hotel accomodation I have stayed in. I have already recommended to my Auckland associates who have people comming to Auckland from time to time. The evening dining could be improved, while breakfast is excellent.
Overall I thought the hotel was very good and the service excellent, but thought it was slightly overpriced compared to other 5 star hotels that I have stayed in.
The double bedroom suite was spacious and well laid out. The only negative was the broadband connection could have had a desk nearby! Would certainly stay there again.

Very nice rooms. Good service for required extras. Shame no valet parking.
We stayed in an apartment which was superb. They suggested an upgrade from level 5 to level 18 which was much appreciated. Were not able to view pay movies in the bedroom, which is a bit of a downside, only slightly. Breakfast was great.
Very noisy at weekends but this is true of all hotels in the City and wouldn't think this was any worse than others.
