Quay West Suites Sydney

This was family time for myself and partner, niece and her husband and 2 daughters, a nephew and his girlfriend and my youngest nephew. In the last 3 years we have lost their Dad (my brother) and both my parents so this was our "happy" time. It was the best couple of days of my life. Everything about the hotel, its location, outlook and facilities were unbelievable. All the staff we had contact with were wonderful. Everyone said the pricing was good.

I can see how Quay West was a star property due to the location, rooftop pool, views as well as the diversity of room types. That said, it was very quiet during my stay as opposed to the buzz I was expecting. The staff was accommodating and professional and the location allows you to be near all the tourist sights including the Opera house, so no big complaints there. The room was large and comfortable.

Only spent 1 night . Very spacious 1 bedroom apt. in the heart of town but in a quiet road off the main thoroughfare. Close to eating places and convenience store.

My mother and I had a delux one bed room suite on the 21st floor. Lovely views of water and harbour bridge. Luxury suite, everything in A1 condition. Lots of little toiletries, tea and coffee, detergent for the laundry, toweling dressing gowns. Pleasant staff. Sensational location.

Quay West Suites are exceptional. Choose the more expensive Harbour View Suites for the best view in Sydney. Looking directly over The Rocks area with the Opera House to the right and the Bridge to the left, there is a constant magnificent view including cruise ships docking at the International Terminal and even the ferries from Circular Quay, with their constant coming and goings, add to the interest. The suites are comfortable with every amenity including kitchen and laundry. Room service is also available. Staff display a good mix of friendliness and professionalism at all times. Positioned at the head of The Rocks (bottom of George St but up high) means you are close to the big shops (10 minutes walk to the QVB) and 2 minutes by car to the Bridge. The price per week means it will probably be something special for most of us, but you get what you pay for here. After 6 visits I can say I have never regretted the cost at all and can never find anything that is less than perfect.

The Quay West Suites in Sydney is an absolutely awesome place to stay. Our apartment was a very spacious,bathrooms where huge with plenty of towels,a good hairdryer & complimentary toiletries. Kitchen was equipped with all the basics,plus a full laundry including iron & ironing board. Room Service was prompt & better quality & value than some of the restaurants we frequented,we now regret not having breakfast there as well, but will do on our next visit. The best thing was the service,the staff at Quay West are friendly and polite,without being over bearing.We where very surprised to be given such helpful information about making bookings in the future and restaurant details. Value for money was excellent,we had a two bedroom apartment,with the most spectacular views for less money then other 5 star hotels where you just get a room.To sum up...it was very clean,spacious,well priced and in a great location to get yourself around town.

Fantastic location and great views of the harbour. Close to Circular Quay but nice and quiet in the evenings!

The restaurant food was delicious, but the room service menu (after 10.00 pm and not from the restaurant) was not so good. Most staff were very friendly. View was awsome from the Executive Suite.

The room was fabulous and even though it was 'city view' we could still see the harbour bridge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really central location for all the sights of Sydney. Thouroughly recommend it. We wanted to move in permanently!

Super location, apartment very modern and well equipped. Leisure facilities good. Never ate there but menu looked good.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. All the staff were polite and extremely helpfull. We stayed in a Deluxe King Suite and couldn't have been happier.

The view from the 2 bedroom suite was FANTASTIC. The suite was clean and the staffs were friendly and helpful. Location wise-may be a bit hard to find and it sited at the top steep slope from the main road, which may be a tough walk for the elderly. But it is near the Circular Quay and Wynyard Train Station and bus stops, so quite convinence once you know the way. I would recommend this place!

For our wedding night, this hotel could not have been more perfect! They upgraded our room and provided free parking! We could not have been happier! Perfect Location!
