Queens Hotel Crystal Palace London

"We chose this hotel as it was in a convenient location for us to spend 2 nights chilling & eating out. Crystal Palace has a wealth of restaurants, all within 5-8 minutes walk. We tried at least 3 restaurants over the weekend. The hotel is what you would expect for a 2/3 star hotel. Don't expect the Hilton! The first room we were allocated was dark & dingy with a very small window near the top of the ceiling. We asked to be moved. The 2nd room was much better, although the bathroom was a little tired. The hotel could do with a good slap of paint and fixing of tiles in the bathroom. The breakfast was the usual continental affair. We opted for an English breakfast which you have to pay £3.50 for. It was ok - if only a little overdone. All-in-all we got what we paid for - a room to relax in after our days out eating and drinking and not having to worry about driving home!!" - Anonymous

"The room was very disappointing, the first room were offered - the number did not exist. The second room was dirty and the third room we only accepted because we were tired and it was too late to go elsewhere. There was not plug on the TV. T here was tea and coffee but no kettle." - Anonymous

"this hotel was awful. breakfast was pathetic. pillows were hard to come by. fire regulations were not being adhered to. staff were unfriendly. i would never stay here again. " - Anonymous
