great location and very central
good Service , friendly and clean but need to improve provision in rooms; better pillows, more coat hangers and a sink plug!
The reason we stayed at the Queens Hotel was that every where else of a better standard was already booked. We went to watch England play cricket in Kandy. This was also the place The Barmy Army made their HQ for the week. the Hotel looked tired and could benefit from more that a lick of paint. food average and with little choice on a day to day basis.The pool was probably the best thing about this hotel.
Average. The pool is very good, and the bar is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Get a room facing inwards, rather than out onto the noisy main street.
A real bargain at this price. It's a very characterful old building - right in the middle of all the action in Kandy. The pool is very pleasant. The laundry service is cheap and prompt - a boon on a travelling holiday. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful.
