Quercia Rossa is a stylish B&B located between Rome and Siena, close to Saturnias natural cascades. Its a perfect base for exploring South Tuscany: Siena (1h), Pitigliano, Sovana and Argentarios beaches (30 min) and even Rome (1h and half).
All rooms have independent access, bathroom, air condition (on request), Tv, DVD, safe and minibar. They have antique furniture, Neo-Rennaissance beds, gilded bronze sconces, lamps of Murano crystal, and relics of exotic voyages, coming from the Tuscan villa of the XIX centurys English traveller, Lady Augusta Belloc.
Every morning Quercia Rossa offers breakfast in the main hall, opened on the beautiful garden with lawns, roses and cypresses, and a magic swimming pool overlooking unspoilt tuscan hills. Getting there:
Arriving from Siena: Take the road SS223 (direction Grosseto). Then take the Aurelia state highway (SS1) to km 155 (exit at sign 'Albinia'). Then take the road SS 74 (direction: Manciano) to km 23 and 800mt (on milestone is written 23-VIII). You will find on your left 2 pines and a big gate: enter and take the asphalt road following the signs.
Arriving from Rome: Take the Highway A12 to Civitavecchia and then the Aurelia state highway (SS1) to km 146 and then take the road SP 128 for km 5 and then turn right on the road SS 74 (direction: Manciano) to km 23 and 800mt (on milestone is written 23-VIII). You will find on your right 2 pines and the gate of entrance in the 'Tenuta Cavallini'. Take the asphalt road following the signs.
Arriving from Montemerano: Take the road SR 159 (direction: Manciano) to km 98 +600mt (on milestone is written 98-VI). Turn on your right and follow the asphalt road for 7.5 kilometers; than turn left for 1.5 kilometers following the signs.
