Quest Apartments Dunedin

Very convenient place to stay in the centre of Dunedin. Close to movie theatres and plenty of restaurants. Good safe parking as well.

Very clean and service was excellent. Value for money and would definitely come back.

After hours check-in was complicated, however facilities were clean. The water pressure in the shower was GREAT and there was good value for money. Central location with an easy walk to the Octagon.

a few more kitchen utensils woul be good making it easier to cook in the frying pan (e.g, something to take the fried eggs out of the pan :-) ) Otherwise, I was very impressed and would be more than happy to stay there again.

I like these apartments as they are close to the city without being right in it. They are mopdern, clean, and quiet as long as you have a room not facing the road. There is a supermarket right next door to get supplies and the apartments provide a toaster, microwave and electric fry pan so you can organise your own breakfast or easy dinner from the supermaket The only downside is that you need to pay an extra $12 for secure parking. There is parking in the area on the street but if you don't want to be out early to move the car or put money in meters then this is the better option.

Staff exceptionally helpful - after I stuffed up our booking, staff went out of their way to faciliate a room with no additional charges. I could have forfeited original booking and then had to pay again. We we very appreciative of the assistance and will definitely stay there again. The self contained apartments were also well equiped and comfortable.

good location and apartment is well equipped.It is well maintained and clean. However, the room I stayed in had a humming noise over the night which had a disturbing effect on sleeping.

This is a very comfortable apartment complex. There is a main road running past the front of the building (State Highway 1) so ask to get a room at the rear of the building. Not really a good view from this complex but the Police station carpark is a lot quieter than the main road. Across the road from "Cadbury World" and two excellent supermarkets a few yards either side.

We found the facility was reasonably plain and basic for the price - car parking was extra $12.50 per night which only made it a more expenisve option

Great place, plenty of space with own dishwasher,washer and dryer also next to supermarket and a 2min walk to the city

Need better rubbish bins in units - currently two small bins supplied which are VERY small...

Very convenient to city centre and the university and hospital. Serviced apartments are the way to go in terms of economic accommodation. Slightly lower rating for pricing because of their charging for carparking - seems an unnecessary bit of price gouging to me.

Although the rooms at the Quest are good, it is quite disconcerting to arrive early in the evening and find that the check-in staff leave at 6pm. It also seems a pity that when backpacker hostels as a matter of routine offer free internet, much higher priced establishments including the Dunedin Quest feel obliged to charge for this, which typically makes it difficult to set up as well.

Opposite Cadbury World, 3 minutes from the railway station, 5 minutes from the Octagon and 1 minute from a supermarket.

Great location! Walking distance to shops, attractions and restaurants. Great rooms for families or when travelling with others. Very secure and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again!
