Luxury in the city! Indulge in our 3 bedroom penthouse for a fantastic night in the CBD. Suite comes with 2 Queen beds and 1 Single bed, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen with dining suite and very spacious open plan lounge area with spacious Balcony! Top floor of the hotel!
Terrible smell in the room like someone had been cooking previously. The sinks was partially blocked. Older style, not very modern. Ok for a place just to rest your head during a stopover.
Was very good but the coffee plunger was missing from the room ( there was a packet of Plunger coffee provided but nothing to make it with) and reception closed after 6pm so there was no one to contact if there was a problem.
While the furnishings and decor were in need of some repair/refurbishment, the staff were fantastic: courteous, obliging and friedly. Made for a great stay in the end
We booked a car park, however when parking up, the access card didn't work! There was no phone number on the information sheet given to us from the hotel so we could not phone and tell them the card wasn't working. We had to phone Directory to get the number to the hotel (yes, I should have been organised but this information should be on all information given to guests). The bathroom tiles on the wall looked like they needed to be cleaned with exit mould. You could feel the springs in the mattress and the echo from the atrium was quite loud. We were concerned about making too much noise so we started whispering when communicating with each other??? We paid a deposit online but on checking out, we were going to be charged the full amount until I told the person we had paid a deposit. The reception didn't even apologise for getting it wrong and looked like she was having a bad day! Definately not going back here!
The lack of adequate seating in the lounge area was disappointing. 2 people on a small 2 seater settee was quite cramped when trying to chill out at the end of a tiring day. Otherwise the room was good. The kitchen area was well equipped.
The room was really great, tidy and looked great. The shower was a little dirty, there were hairs in it. The room was warm. I would have liked to have been told that the hotel was being painted and had, had the option not to stay. The smell of paint didn't end up affecting us i do still think that this should have been on the website or metioned when i called. The service from the girl on the desk was friendly and she was nice enough but she really didn't know anything we asked. We knew more about wellington than she did. I do think someone working on the desk at a hotel should know about parking in the area and that its free in the weekends. Also more about eating places around. I do think the service was very average.
We enjoyed the central location. Rooms were clean and well supplied. Access to good gym and pool was a bonus. Would stay there again if could get the deal we got with rates to go. Rooms looking into atrium are a bit enclosed...try for one on external wall. Recommended
value for money but certainly no extra service just the basics but room priced accordingly for what it was add extra carparking and not close enough to hotel detracts from the appeal as well
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my Family @ The Quest Atrium. The rooms were spacious clean and well presented and the staff were very accomodating. Would definitely reccommmend their Serviced Apartments facilities to friends and Family and will stay there again when in Wlg
I found the atrium acted like an echo chamber making it noisy if you were trying to work here. The gym is well equipped including pool. Lack of restaurant means I will probably stay elsewhere in future.
Loved our stay here. We have a 1 year old and I never get a good nights sleep away when he is in our room. In the 3bdrm penthouse suite we stayed in, the main bedroom has a large walk through wardrobe which closes off to the ensuite and bedroom. We put him in there and he slept soundly all night as did we - Yay! Cooking facilities were fantastic although we could have done with a grater. Reception staff were more than happy to answer our numerous questions and went out of their way to accommodate our additional requests. Would definately recommend and would stay again in the future. I think this is the 2nd time we have stayed here.
The gym was great. The actual hotel facilities were average and that they didn't have any mobility carparking for one of my clients really put me off.
Atrium is one huge sound amplifier for any laughs, TV's etc. which is the main reason why I won't return. They have this policy that up to 11 days, your room is serviced every day but more than this, only twice a week which I only found out once checked in. I stayed 14 days and because of the 3 days more, my room was only serviced 4 times during the two weeks yet I paid the full rate. The last service to the room was not even done properly.
good value for money.clean room.
Small but perfectly formed, better for business traveller rather than leisure as the pool is an indoor lap pool attached to idependant gym, not exactly perfect for relaxing by with a cocktail! If they have no car-parks available (normally $20 a night) ask James Cook Hotel opposite for Valet Service only (they charged $18) cheaper than parking in the Wilson Carpark ($34 a night)
good frontdesk service, great room. had great weekend with a girls night out. would totally recommend!!
room was dirty, dusty and moldy. not quite what i had expected from the description
very small room - bed very small and short. great location though.
