Courtesy of our guests: The rooms at these apartments are well appointed with attention to detail. The large bathroom is extremely clean. We found the staff friendly and helpful in every way. The location was quiet with magnificent gardens. We have stayed at these apartments twice and look forward to staying again in the near future. A relaxed location so close to the city. Reception staff were helpful and courteous. The room was immaculately presented and as advertised. The Hotel was quiet. Parking was plentiful. In short everything was as it should be. I would certainly stay at Quest East StKilda again

very good area and parking can be a problem due to they share the car park with a restaurant.
ok hotel, a bit noisy though, and in the suburbs the view is a bit.. well suburban! But nice.

We only stayed 1 night here, but was very pleased with the service. The spa in the room is great and staff very friendly.
Having stayed here before this is the first time since the revamp, the location is great the upgrade is pretty good except for the shower which goes all over the floor, but who cares because the location is great the staff are pretty good, and the room 6th floor bay view was great to get back to after a days work, i will be staying here in future instead of the city, in fact i will be back in the next few weeks, and you can always get a taxi here as the rank is out the front.

probably slightly out of the way from the CBD but once you find your way around easy to get to by train or tram. Very quiet and not far from the main places to go in Melbs.
Our one night stay was all that we expected with top marks in all departments with outstanding value for money. Dorothy and John. Victoria.
I let them know we would check in at 1.00pm and as the plane was late we arrived at 2.15pm and our room was not ready. Kindly they allowed us to freshen up in another one as we had a party to attend. When we checked in at 7.30pm I asked for a late check out the next morning.The receptionist said we could check out 11.30am. The next morning our phone rang at 10.15am to see when we were checking out.There had not be any communication between the night and morning staff. The hotel advertised as re-furbished. It must have been a long while ago.There was a musty smell everywhere.For $180 for the night I expect better. It also advertised that it had a balcony or courtyard and we had a small paved area looking at a brushfence with no outdoor table to sit at.
whilst the hotel has been refurbished it has only been a soft refurb and the furniture, etc is old, worn and is some areas damaged eg door broken off wardrobe, old fittings not used but still in shower, etc
Bigger than normal rooms & probably the best value in Melbourne. My only criticism would be that there is no internet service included. In this day & age, it is not good enough for interstate customers to have to unplug the phone & use their dial up modem to connect to a server that they don't have in Melbourne

I found the location was one of the best features. The buildings are well back from Inkerman Street and therefore there is little to no traffic noise at night. The quilt cover on the bed had a stain on it which could have been removed with proper cleaning.
The reception staff where excellent.
love the spa,not a bath,mattress a bit soft,overall a very good night for good byes....
Advertised WiFi but did not have access in the rooms only in reception. Location was not good unless you had a car. No restaurant or food on site.
