I was told to park far away up the top of Russell which isn't anywhere near the Quest. So walked with hand luggage in the heat. Room was in top order. Loved the bed so nice. Kitchen modern Bathroom to small but shower worked well nothing fancy but. Great Location with great cafe's ,restaurants & clothing shops all along Lt Collins the Paris end of Melb. Would recomend to people who dont need transport around town.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the hotel location was fantastic. The room was clean with great air-conditioning , a compact modern kitchen area and a flat screen T.V. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Great Value.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was noisy at night and early morning with traffic and nightclub opposite but this did not bother us really. If you are after somewhere quiet this is not the place for you. Despite a mouldy patch on the carpet we would return happily.

The Quest Fairfax rooms are spacious and clean. The service was very friendly and accomodating. Our room was unfortunately very close to the street which was extremely noisy and we didn't get any sleep. I wouldn't choose to stay again due to this fact.

Stayed in an executive apartment in the new premises and it was very noisy from road & traffic light, there was also no way of shutting out the light from the city either. Very difficult to rest considering I'm from the country where I have none of this to deal with normally. Far prefer the studio apartments in the original premises

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. Good size, clean, good layout, In need of some tlc, but overall very acceptable. The parking was restricted but if you booked in advance a place was allocated to your car so no problem. Price was good as booked through [website]. Location was brilliant for central Melb. Would strongly recommend this venue.

location was ok, but would not recommend staying there when the nightclubs are open. The noise was terrible, taxi's 'tooting' none stop at 2.30 am. waiting for fares from nightclub in Queen St. then more noise at 3.30 am when another nightclub closed in Lt Collins St. Facilities basic and not a very easy place to manouever around with baggage. narrow entries and passage ways. No consideration given regarding request for an earlier checkin as we had travelled all night internationally and a request was made if we could check in at 12 mid-day. Sloppy receptionist.

Despite the good location, this was a very tired room with a very small bathroom, which may account for the mouldy ceiling and the large cracks in the shower screen. It was also very noisy and i wouldn't stay there again.

Helpful staff, rooms were well looked after. The only negative was the need for a coat of paint, it was starting to look a bit tatty on the edges. Otherwise good location etc.

I stayed for work & a collegue & I each had our own studio. Whilst the room design was good, & very spacious with the loft, there was mould growing in my bathroom tiles in the shower & my collegue's bin had not been emptied from the previous guest. The hotel is in more of the "business" end of Melbourne so close to shops which were closed at night, & very few restaurants/cafes close by that were open on a sat night/sun morning which was a pain. There is however a supermarket/bottle-shop within 30sec walk & considering apartment has full kitchen this would be better for eating.
