The hotel provided good basic accommodation. The rooms were well heated - and in Invercargill that's a must! My expectations were not great..........it was after all Invercargill, but I would probably stay there again.

Very comfortable. I particularly liked the spaciousness - much better than a small hotel room1 Would defititely stay there agian and recommend to anyone going to Invercargill.
Location was good, room was nice but the floor sqeaked badly, it sqeaked with every step taken in the room
The Hotel is on the edge of the Central Business Area with restaurants and movie theatres nearby. Generally the facilities were good, without being exemplary, but attention to design during the construction was not as good as it should have been. We were on the first floor and the plumbing from the appartment above ran down inside the wall of our bedroom and was extremely noisy, particularly when the occupants of the 2nd floor apartment decided to shower & do their laundry between 11.30 pm & 12.30am. The complimentary carparking was in a vacant lot 3 doors down fromthe hotel.
A really nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Room was very nice with modern decor. Would definitely stay again.
We stay here often when we visit Invercargill. The Quest offers great value for money.
Very noisey with the traffic, bed was to single beds pulled together join in middle was uncomfortable and there was no heating turned on before we arrived the room was very cold on arrival. lacation was great so close to town.
Not very clean.Had to ask for clean pillows on our arrival.Although location is good for shops,bars and restaurants the noise made by 'Boy Racers" from early evening to early morning was appalling,allowing little sleep.
no airconditioning and very noisy outside. the room was hot and you couldn't leave the window open
Lovely well done out old post office, shame its in such a terrible spot, near a pub, two clocks and a hangout for drunks. Don't expect a perfect sleep.
This is our second stay, still as impressed as the first time. We have had both apartment and studio bookings. Highly recommended for cleanliness and a great place to stay, 11am checkout a bonus!
Great apartment style accommodation with Kitcehette facilities right in central Invercargill. Only down side is that it is apartment style and so not so good for those who want bar and other communial factilities. But lots of bars and eating places all around. A definate favourite of mine
This is an older hotel which has been tastefully refurbished.
Very modern interior with very good facilities and spotlessly clean.Well located.As the building was old and had been refurbished ventiliation could be a problem in very hot weather.Overall very good value for money and would stay there again. Paul & Linda,Nantwich UK
Hi There - I enjoyed my stay there and very clean and tidy. I guess if you want to pick faults it was very noisy and the floors sqeaked badly. Any chance that double glazing maybe done in the future? Thanks Ian S.
An ideal location in a different city / town. Great to see such creative use of a grand old building in a way which didn't detract from it's stature. Very nice.
Convenient location to the town centre. Good sized rooms.
Excellent location with amble parking lots. Would return to stay again on next visit.
