Our 1920''s facade is reminisant of a by-gone era and the original building was one of the few in the city centre to survive the devastating earthquake of 1931.

Stayed for a night on 10 April. Very good location if coming into Napier by Intercity/newman's coach as it's only a minute's walk from the bus stop. It's right in the heart of the city with shopping streets abd supermarkets and fast food restaurants all within walking distance. It is also in the Art Deco area. Takes us about 5 minutes to walk to the seafront area. But the vineyards are probably about 30-minute drive away. Room facilities are well maintained. Room is spacious, and so is the ensuite washroom. Reception was very friendly and helpful; check-in/check-out was a breeze. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Two ensuite bathrooms add to the space available and guests also have the use of a modern, full kitchen, including 2-ringed bench top hob, oven, dishwashing drawer, fridge and microwave, with all necessary pots, pans and implements provided. A Flat-screen LCD television, DVD player and stereo system give all of our guests the modern comfort of home and SKY TV are available in each and every room, free of charge. A Rollaway bed for a third person can be put into the room upon request. Internet access is available for $10/24hours

This apartment was perfect for us...great rooms...clean...great friendly staff and little continental breakfast was fantastic...would recommend it to anyone.
We were made to feel very welcome, especially Coco our Guide Dog pup, and were delighted with the apartment. It was modern, light and airy with excellent fixtures and fittings. The breakfasts were just right and so convenient having them delivered each evening. Our hosts were extremely pleasant and to be commended.
Comfortable bed, great appliances, not a good outlook (looking into a wall) and although it was fine for our visit, I wonder if the lack of airconditioning or window that opens will affect its comfort in the summertime. Nice high ceilings.
Compliment to the owner. It is a very familiar and pleasant hotel to stay and descover Art Decor in Napier. Our studio had plenty of space and a well equiped kitchen part.
