Hotel room was like being in a cave, as we were on the 2nd floor there was minimal natural light. We had been allocated a disabled room?? for wheelchair bound hotel guests but various items such as glass ware and crockery were kept in cupboards at my eye level... Most importantly there was no vanity or shelving in the bathroom we had to put a chair in the bathroom to keep things off the floor, like the hairdryer and cosmetics. Also no plug for the sink. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for a 4 star establishment. When we queried the reception staff we were told that is the room design.
Very happy with the staff and the room.

Nice quiet room, very well located. Helpful staff. Very clean and well appointed except for the very old TV - romote not working.
As with most Quest apartments, the room was generously sized, nice and clean, reception were friendly and helpful, and the location is central to town hall and central station (about 5-10 mins walk from each). The large balcony on the executive studio was great (probably the largest balcony i've seen at a hotel) and when the door was shut there was no traffic noise. The hotel is smack bang in the middle of Chinatown which adds a bit of colour to the location and the giant Panda bear that comes out around dinner time promoting a local restaurant is popular with the kids. I will/would definately stay here again and would recommend Quest on Dixon to both work colleagues and friends.
I stayed here for 2 nights and after reading some reviews, i decided not to expect anything much more than just a decent apartment. I was actually on a budget and find this service apartment cheaper than other hotels and since i have stayed with Quest at other states, i kind of trust this one will be just as good as the rest. I checked in late and was glad the reception is still open. the room looks exactly like in the promotion pictures. And, i do get the room with no view ( but its okie since its not an expensive accommodation). The room and toilet are clean ( which are the most important thing for me). Location is actually in Chinatown. Not too bad....i can go out and still find something to eat at night. I didnt use the kitchen coz it is not exactly a kitchen. It is more like portable elctric stove. Besides, there are so many places to eat just outside. And it is near to darling harbour...very convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
good location. good environment. good value. If you want to stay close chinatown. strongly recommend.
Was really great. Was a very nice apartment (room 55). Great location and excellently priced
Excellent location for City & Darling Harbour. Many good restaurants within 5 minute walk
The best feature about this hotel is definitely the location. Chinatown is close and assessable by feet. We love the hustle and buzz of how Chinatown never sleep. There are plenty of restaurants right in front of the hotel. The hotel room we got was quiet small, very ordinary and the air conditioner and TV did not work. We asked for a late check out and this could not be accommodated on a Monday morning which was joke. Would recommend this hotel and stay there again.
Very happy with my stay at Quest on Dixon Darling Harbour. The apartment was close to Darling Harbour and chinatown.
The service by the reception staff was excellent. The security of the building was 10/10.
it was a huge room. it was very quiet considering it was on china town. the smell in the lobby was not very nice need some airfreshner. not any easy place for limos & taxies to get into
Great stay! Value for money. top marks, friendly reception. Within walking distance of Sydney CBD, China town & Darling Harbour.
i found the quest apartments too be very nice and clean,i would reccomend it too any of my peers.im looking at booking in again
Well located and good value for money. Clean with friendly staff. We would stay there again
Cant figure out why my apartment had a saucepan and a frypan but only a microwave :) Room was large, clean and tidy, with great insulation from the noise of Chinatown - didnt even notice till I opened the window. Balcony was kinda dark and dingy. Only real downside for me was a very hard bed. Oh and the shower was tiny and could have been 3 times the size considering the size of the bathroom.
A good hotel that is not too far from Darling Harbour. It is right next door to China town with some great restaurants.
Excellent apartments in great location right on the edge of Chinatown & Darling Harbour. Concierge was very friendly and helpful. Only down side was our fridge was VERY lound during the night. On our 2nd night we switched it off and I'm sure housekeeping was delighted that we had defrosted the fridge for them. We enjoyed our stay and at the price we paid would definitely stay there again.
Great location next to Darling Harbour and the centre of Sydney. Very clean and the staff were great. However, the TV set was approx 17 years old, analogue channels only and poor quality picture. One would expect better in the middle of a capital city in the 21Century
A very convenient hotel. You can walk to the Convention Centre in 5 minutes so a great hotel for people attending conferences. A short walk to the cinema complexes in George Street. A very good Japanese restaurant across the road (Wako). Would definitely stay there again.
