Getting there:Eden Crescent is the continuation of Shortland St (off Queen St). It can also be accessed from Parliament St or Short St, both of which are off Anzac Avenue. Easy access to/from southern and northwestern motorways - take Wellesley St off-ramp, turn left at lights, get into right hand lane, turn right into Princes St, drive past Albert Park, through traffic lights intersection, then turn right at end of the road which will be Eden Crescent. Quest on Eden is a red brick building about 200 metres down on the left hand side.
Check-in Procedure:Reception is open from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1.30pm Saturday/Sunday & Public Holidays. After these hours, check in is via telephone at the front door. Keys are released to the guest through access to a security box on identification. Credit card details must be provided on arrival to ensure the completion of check-in procedures.
Car parking:Undercover parking with internal access is available. Car parking is $15.00/day. As car parking is limited, it is very important to pre-book to avoid disappointment.
Child Policy:There is no extra charge for children or adults using existing bedding. A rollaway bed can be provided in 2 bedroom apartments at an additional cost of $34/bed/night and must be pre-booked. (Any additional charges are payable direct to the hotel). Cots and high chairs can also be provided at the additional cost of $10 per item per night, however these items MUST be pre-booked in advance with the Hotel and payable directly to the Hotel.

Bathroom smelled of bleach which was unpleasant. Had everything I needed supplied so was impressed. Reception was not totally familiar with public transport so didn't give perfectly accurate information.
We were very pleased with the friendly and helpful hospitality which was given to us on our stay in Auckland.

We found it somewhat impersonal. We booked a Twin room but were allocated a Double. The management dealt adequately with the problem and gave us a double bedroomed appartment.
Great location...wonderful place to stay for a family. It wasn't very luxurious, but the price was right and it had everything we needed.
Well run establishment, very professional system for checking in, hotel was very busy but everything was organised for our stay, rooms were clean & serviced, good sound insulation for traffic noise so very peaceful. Parking was very ordered but spaces were limited and small. Thought it was reasonable pricing for location. Good location close to everything, all in all we had a good experience at Quest on Eden in Auckland.

The room was on the small size; for a 4 star establishment, and watch for those hidden charges. You need to book a Car Park at extra cost (be very clear to them the exact size of your car as spaces are tiny). Well equipped studio in an excellent location. Overall our experience was above average.
Found it to be a bit noisy at night time. Not all of the oven elements worked and the dryer didn't work properly. Great parking and very central to everything we wanted to see.

Well appointed and comfortable
There is only 1 comment to make, I would have thought a hotel of this calibre would have had more than one TV for a family unit, we have stayed at Quest in Parnell and we expected that there would have been a TV in each bedroom in this unit. They are very well appointed Hotels and we will certainly be staying there again.
As we were walking most of the time the hill was an issue and getting in on arrival was a little difficult after hours

The rooms were small but very clean , well planned and all you needed was there. Service was very good and friendly would stay there again.
We were delighted with our two bedroom apartment with a small balcony looking out over the roof tops of central Auckland to the west. It was spotlessly clean, attractive and very well maintained with all furnishings and appliances in top condition. Comfortable beds were appreciated. The bathroom functioned really well, plenty of very hot water and a very good shower. The weather was hot and we appreciated the large rotating fan that we could move arround as needed. The balcony was a great feature. The receptionist organised our trip by taxi to the recommended restaurant who discounted our meal cost to cover the taxi fare. We'll definitely stay there again. Note: a separate booking had to be made to reserve a car space in the basement garage for our car.
