"The room was a reasonable size. Non-existent view but that was no problem. No central heating but oil column heater was perfectly acceptable. Bathroom very clean. TV & radio very good. Didn't need all facilities as only there 2 nights but washing/cooking facilities would be appreciated in appropriate circumstances. Central location although the walk up the Plimmer Steps from Lambton Quay will give a good workout. All in all very happy with our stay." - Pam Burrows

Quest on Gilmer is a 15-20 minutes taxi ride from the airport or 12 minutes walk to the train station. It is located off Boulcott Street which can be accessed from either The Terrace or Willis Street.
A taxi from interislander will cost NZD18.00 and from Lynx Terminal approximately NZD12.00. It will take 5-7Minutes to reach the hotel.
We are approximately a NZD10.00 taxi ride from the train station. Alternately you may choose to walk along Lambton Quay until you reach City Life Hotel. Take the lifts of city life hotel to the 6th floor, exit the building through their reception. Walk down Gilmer Tce and we are on the left hand side.
By Car from the North:
If arriving in Wellington from the north, simly take"the Terrace Exit" . Turn right from the set of traffic light and be in your left hand side lane. Take the off ramp just after the turn to go left on Boulcott street. Take first left from boulcott street to Gilmer Terrace and we are just on the right hand side.

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 10.30pm.
Weekends: 8am to 10pm
Public Holidays: 8am to 4pm
For access outside these hours please contact our office via email or phone prior to arrival to arrange security access codes. On most occassions an afterhours duty manager will be on site to assist you on your arrival.
Check in time is 2pm. Arrangements can be made for storage of your luggage if arranged prior. *IT IS IMPORTANT |
