Getting there:By Car; From the South, exit at The Nelson Street offramp and Quest on Nelson (formerly Regatta Court) is 250 metres down Nelson Street on the right. From the North exit at Cook Street (3rd exit after the Harbour Bridge). Take 3rd right into Hobson Street, next right into Union Street and then right into Nelson Street. Quest on Nelson (formerly Regatta Court) is only 250 metres down Nelson Street on the right. From the Airport; Travelling time for 22 kilomtere journey is approximately 30 minutes. Taxis $40-$65, Shuttle $18-$25 (takes a little longer) & Airbus $15 (nearest drop-off Sky City).

This hotel advertised a swimming pool and a gym however not only is this not true (You have to walk down the road to youth town) but when we did this youth town was closed until Jan 10th. Very disappointing as these facilities were very important to us and if we knew this we never would have chosen this hotel. However the staff were helpful and let us check out early without penalty.
Spick-and-span apartment with reasonable space. Everything worked. Underground carpark small but easily negotiated. Friendly desk. 5 block stroll to eat out. Busy gym 1.5 blocks down street fairly macho. Harbour view means traffic noise.

Comfortable but basic accommodation, very easy location to drive to.
This unit was starting to get pretty dated but the rate was good, may need to reassess the star rating though.
great have stayed here for the 3rd time now friendly helpful staff very good location bit of traffic noise but it is on a busy road in the city will be staying again
Handy to Central Auckland.
Very welcoming hotel. Spacious room with all the facilities you could want. The traffic noise can keep you awake but the benefits of the hotel compensate for this.
Everything pretty good, although it was a shame that our bathroom was right next to a balcony that we could hear people talking, could not see anyone but it was still a bit unconfortable. Close to the city and we had a good price.

Great to have lots of facilities in the room - especially a washing machine and dryer after 6 weeks of travel. The apartments are within walking distance to the city and the sky tower is just around the corner. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a great stay there. Would highly recommend Quest on Nelson.
Overall good, I would go for a unit higher up so that the effect of the road noise is not as bad. Also the truck that emptys the rubbish at 5am can make you wake up in a hurry. Parking is a challange not a lot of space. Nice a close to most things, so dont need a car.
We stayed in apartment 5B one bedroom with harbour view from 9 to 16 August 2008. It was perfect for the two of us - great harbour view - and handy to Queen St. Parking also provided for our rental car. Helpful staff. Although Nelson St is fairly busy with traffic - we live on a quiet lifestyle block - the noise did not bother us. Would recommend.

We stayed just two nights at Quest on Nelson, although would be perfectly happy with a longer stay, Harbour View One Bedroom Apartment with 1 extra bed, could not fault the place, although fairly basic, it met our requirements ideally, easy walking distance to city centre, very clean, good facilities, (self catering), we found it surprisingly quiet considering how close to city centre, except for morning traffic. Great views from our balcony, we had a very generous double bed and a temp fold out bed for our daughter, ideal. Good price, if you're not looking for luxury hotel accommodation, I Highly recommend this place, very comfortable, will definately be back. Many thanks to Quest on Nelson!!!
Value for money it was very good. It was clean with excellent facilities. It is close to the CBD and other central city attractions.

Great to get an apartment in town with parking, most others have very limited parking if any, here parking is secure and covered.
Very clean well maintained apartment.Staff friendly and helpful and pricing realistic . Within walking distance of the Viaduct, Sky City , Queen Street, local restaurants and cafes. Close to all public transport buses and trains. This is the second time I have stayed at this apartment and would happily recommend it to singles or couples.The convenience of a serviced apartment with both kitchen and laundry facilities included is an added bonus. My husband Dallas & I had a fantastic weekend at Quest On Nelson, Auckland. The staff are friendly and helpful, the apartments are comfortable (we had a view of the harbour too), the prices are reasonable, parking is secure, and its only 5mins walk to Sky City and the CBD. We'll definitely go back.
