"We have stayed here before and once again we were pleased with our accomodation. The studio room we stayed in has been refurbished since our previous stay and has improved the facilities greatly. The kitchenette and bathroom have been updated very tastefully and make the amenities everything you could wish for in a studio room. The pub around the corner is also still excellent! Located in the heart of the lakeside all seasons holiday town of Lake Taupo with its stunning scenery of lake and snow capped mountains. Quest Taupo provides two styles of accommodation, superior 4. 5 star rated 2 and 3 bedroom fully self contained apartments and comfortable 4 star motel style suites Each apartment is luxuriously appointed with king size beds and private spa baths full kitchens with dishwasher,washing machine/dryer aircon and fully heated.All apartments have balconys. The motel units all have king beds but are not air/conditioned and do not have spa baths but provides spacious accoomdation for the budget minded. Lake Taupo is ideally centrally situated for small conferences and weekend getaways. Quest Taupo is within easy walking distance of local cafes and restaurants and a safe swimming beach. Local activities include, trout fishing, sky diving, jet boating, hiking, skiing, kayaking, thermal bathing and a multitude of other outdoor pursuits or just relax by the heated pool.
