This place was excellent. I plan to return with my family for an extended stay. My sons voted this best accommodation in NZ.
Friendly staff, facilities were great as we were travelling the North Island and to have laundry in room was good to freshen up clothing and to cook something for ourselves instead of trying to find a meal out. Location was close but not too close to the centre of town.

A clean and friendly motel with good facilities and good acess to the lake and town.
We have stayed here before and once again we were pleased with our accomodation. The studio room we stayed in has been refurbished since our previous stay and has improved the facilities greatly. The kitchenette and bathroom have been updated very tastefully and make the amenities everything you could wish for in a studio room. The pub around the corner is also still excellent! We will be staying again.
Warm welcome, very clean and a high standard of presentation. Absolutely superb to have underground parking for unpacking as Taupo had bucket loads of "liquid sunshine".
Warm and cosy on a very cold night. Very comfortable bed. Personal and friendly service. Handy to main road but far enough away to be quiet.
Once again we were pleased with our accomodation here. Very clean and friendly place to stay. Located within easy walking distance of a supurb Irish Pub/Restaurant where we had an excellent meal. In fact this is one reason we decided to once again stay at the Quest. We will definately stay there again!

Beautiful two bedroom HOUSE!!! Big enough to ge tlost in, had a wonderful stay here. Only 100 stpes to the lake, lovely!!

Fairly standard room and service etc
The room was a little small. Staff were however very helpful, and the location convenient.
Our motel style room was non-airconditioned. the window needed to be open for ventilation but there was no security grille on the window.
Great service, on arriving early our hosts had our room ready and allowed us early access at no extra cost! Great Location, close to everything we needed and far enough away to give us peace and quiet through the night. Safe, secure and well appointed apartment, Thanks for a great stay.

We were in a Studio Apartment which was in a tastefully refitted motel block. There was ample space and a very comfortable bed for a very reasonable price.
We have stayed at this motel main times and are always impressed with the service and facilities. Won't stay anywhere else. Recommend to anyone enjoying first class accommdation.
This was very clean with a good location. We were loaned a lap top at no charge and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They recommended a restaurant close by which had excellent english beers. Good choice all round, would recommend.
Clean accomodation, only a few metres back from Main Street along Lake.
