"Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, assisting with suggestions of where to eat, recommended pubs and points of interest. Check in was completed quickly although we arrived earlier than expected (1pm), the room was ready and we were able to move straight in. The bar and restaurant co located with the hotel was excellent and the service above average. I would recommend the hotel to others. Note that all rooms are No Smoking although the bar has adequate smoking areas set aside." - Graham Atkinson
