Situated in the most prestigious hotel area of the capital, Funchal, in between the two oldest and best-known units, the Savoy and Reid’s, the Quinta Perestrello allies a preferential position to the unique charm and welcoming ambience provided by these manor houses.
The main house was carefully restored, and a new wing of rooms built alongside. In the lovingly tendered gardens can be found the heated swimming pool.
The furnishings reflect the traditional décor of Madeira’s heritage, and care has been taken to preserve that unique atmosphere associated with the Quintas.
The Quinta Perestrello offers 37 rooms (all with private facilities, air conditioning, telephone, safe and cable television), some of which in the main house.
In the ground floor can be found a reception and sitting area, a cosy restaurant serving breakfast and table d’hôte meals, and a welcoming bar, conservatory and outside terrace for afternoon teas and meeting your fellow guests in the evening.
A total refurbishment of bathrooms, bedrooms and public areas, took place in 2001.
