This was not a four star hotel at all. The rooms were tiny, even though I paid for a single in a double room. Many things did not work and were broken and there is no maintenance on weekends. I was finally upgraded to a superior room after the cold water did not function in my shower for two days. That room was a bit larger and had a nice terrace with a view, but the window shades were broken and the jacuzzi did not work.
We thought that the hotel is very located, that is, it is within walking distance to most of the places of interest in Madrid. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is quite good, that is, a good varity to cater to all tastes. However, I found the cleaniness and facility in the bathroom a bit disappointing. There was still a half emptied shampoo bottle left over by the previous guest and one of the faucet was defect. I have reported it at the reception and I hope it will be fixed before the next guest moves into the room.
i had a briiliant time in madrid and the hotel and its staff were ecxceelent. very friendly. the only complaint i would have is about the frosted door. i was with a friend but still found i had no privacy in the bathroom especially that it had a gap as well.
Great hotel, excellant location. Rooms a bit small but well equipped and modern. Only disadvantage was not having a bar or restaurant on site. However breakfast room very good and room service drinks available.
We stayed at Quo Puerto in the beginning of August. Found the staff to be friendly and let us check in early and check out late to the room. The room was compact but had everything in it. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend staying here, especially due to location.
Excellent location. Standard room facing onto busy street with balcony, but only noise was from internal corridor. Quietest air-con ever. Very comfortable. Within minutes from all art museums. Strongly recommend and will use again.
Perfect location! Fair price. Free internet was a nice change. Helpful staff (especially considering my non-existant Spanish).
very comfortable and cozy hotel with stylish interior and funky bathrooms. located right in the centre of the city, the hotel is less than 10 min walk from most of the museums, galleries and many characterful cafes, bars and restaurants.
Staff friendly & helpful with the exception of the dining room young dragon who refused entry 3 minutes early and thereafter refused any semblance of service which did nothing for our experience. Most rooms are near the lift or staff work stations.which, together with very loud street and people noises was very unrestful. We were assured we had a quiet room.Otherwise a nice little hotel with excellent staff in a wonderful location.Ron. Australia.
HOTEL WAS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE STAYED IN.GREAT ROOMS, VERY CLEAN,GREAT STAFF, GOOD BREAKFAST (HOT AND COLD BUFFET). IDEAL POSITION IN MADRID, CENTRAL FOR EVERYTHING.THERE IS SOME VERY SLIGHT TRAFFIC NOISE AS HOTEL IS ON MAIN ROAD. I WENT WITH 27 OTHER PEOPLE AND NOT ONE HAD A BAD THING TO SAY ABOUT THIS HOTEL I WOULD DEFFERENTLY USE IT AGAIN.
Excellent situated hotel in Madrid, with good breakfast.
Great location. Would recommend on that alone. The rooms are small but perfectly usable and the breakfast was excellent
An ideal location in Madrid. Extremely helpful staff. Their dining recommendations vere superb. Great, trendy decor. Very good breakfasts.
Overall we were satisfied.Price-quality I felt the room was a little too small, but practical, nicely decorated and very clean. I also thought the lobby area was bigger. The location is central, but a little noisy in between 2 big streets. Perfect location if you are looking for a weekend-getaway. Service was very friendly. I was not pleased with the first room we were offered, but the next one was better. I liked the bathroom; newly tiled; nicely designed, but needed better blinds at night, as the window actually reflected the light outside into our room. Breakfast area was small, but again nicely decorated. The assortment was also complete; fresh juice was nice touch. Could recommend the hotel!
Fab location, great rooms, clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Not much of a lobby but who needs that anyway..!
I was searching for a "design" hotel in Madrid for agas before finding this hotel, which is small and boutique-like but very stylish in decor. None of the flowery curtains or nylon bedding I was trying to avoid, so would definately stay again.
Great location and nice design which is why we chose it. Service is very helpful.
Ideal location for a short city visit. Easy access to most of the major sights. Hotel is not over equipped with facilities but you wouldn't expect it to, being in a city centre. Highly recommended!
Easy walking distances to most places of interest. (Prado, Plaza Mayor,Old quarter, Retiro, Palace Real)
We were extremely satisfied with our short stay at this hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends or others interested in a trip to Madrid. Value for money was excellent.
