Stayed at this hotel on a 2 night break. Flew from Galway. Hotel is located less than 5 mins walk from the terminal. Requested a room with runway view and same was granted. Hotel staff very friendly. Received an extension on check out time for no extra cost. Would definetly stay here again.

Great Staff. Always very helpful and friendly. Good location given the bus stops outside the airport to Cork City and Kinsale. I would definately stay here again...

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Cork University Hospital. It is located right in the middle of the airport. Indeed my room looked directly out on the airfield...! Bottom line is that you should choose it ONLY if you need access to airport... not a base for a tourist (long term)

This is a good airport location within walking distance from terminal ( which is busier than you might expect in a regional location). The hotel is of modern appearance but comfortable and clean. The non smoking room had definitely been smoked in but the hotel was happy to arrange a different room. Overall, perfectly adequate for airport hotel.

Ours was an excellent short break, three nights, in an excellent hotel. The ONLY thing we could fault was the decor in the dining room which was modern and clean but dark with no splashes of bright colours to bring it to life. We were very comfortable and well looked after and would certainly return.

They do not have a free car park...! It will cost you 8 euro a day.

I book hotels with a gymnasium. The gym had few pieces of equipment, the equipment was well worn, and the treadmill and cross trainer were in a dangerous condition. I wrote concerns in the log book and expressed concern to staff at reception. I strongly recommend that the gymnasium equipment is replaced and kept in a good state of service and repair. Other hotel facilities were fine and I will stay here again provided of course the gym facilities are brought up to scratch.

The Carlton have got it just about spot on - friendly staff, efficient and the hotel is really comfy. It's my hotel of choice in Dublin and I've tried a few. Thanks

It is a very unassuming building from the outside but the rooms are beautifully and tastefully set out with desk and computer points provided. It is about 500 yards from the main terminus for arrivals and departures and is ideally suited for early morning travel. A continental breakfast is available from 5am and full Irish breakfast from 6am. I will certainly be using this facility in the future. The staff are courtious and attentive. This hotel also has a conference centre.

We booked a night in this hotel as our flight home from Faro was landing late. Checked in at 23.00 hrs. Room was very nice and clean with a comfortable double bed, although it was very noisy. As it was late, there was only sandwiches available foodwise, but they were very tasty. Bar service wasn't great, and it was impossible to get a drink after 00.30. Breakfast was very nice with generous portions.

Excellent location, a minutes walk to the airport and a very stylish hotel considering the reasonable rate (€85 for a double b&b)

There is a shuttle service to the airport which is great and much appreciated late at night. I was checked in quickly and had a great room. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff very courteous.

We arrived at the hotel at 21.30, having not eaten since lunch we asked if there was any possibility of getting some food, we were advised to go straight into the bar and ask. The barmaid was extremely helpful and rushed into the kitchen to check, much to our relief we were served. The whole experience of staying in this Hotel Cork was wonderful. The room was very clean and tidy, the shower had decent temperature and water pressure (a point that is usually disappointing in most hotels) the bed was extremely comfortable and spacious. We would definately recommend the hotel and look forward to returning to the hotel in the future. The staff probably don't hear when the customers are pleased with their service and I hope you could pass on our appreciation of their professional yet friendly service, along with their warm smiles - not often seen either in hotels!
