Rue du Fossé-aux-Loups 47, Wolvengracht 47, 1000 Brussels, Belgium
One of the perfect places to stay in Brussels is the five-star Radisson Blu Royal Hotel with its Art Deco façade, which was designed by famed Belgian architect, Michel Jaspers. Our hotel lies in the heart of Brussels, an animated city full of attractions as well as events that are organised throughout the year. The famous Grand’Place is just a 4 minutes walk from the hotel and holds a 15th century Gothic City Hall as well as an extraordinary ensemble of Baroque town houses. It is surrounded by a labyrinth of small streets, which are lined with shops offering Brussels’ famous beer and chocolate, typical Belgian restaurants and cafés as well as centuries of history. The oldest shopping centre in Europe, the Galleries de la Reine, with its splendid glass vault, is lined with houses boasting pre-neoclassical façades. Strolling through the gallery, you will find numerous superb boutiques, bookstores, furriers and designer stores that end just below the imposing towers of the St Michel & St Gudule Cathedral, one of the glories of Brabant’s Gothic style. The Comic Strip, the Beer and the Chocolate Museums as well as the Manneken-Pis, the famous little boy with six hundred and fifty costumes, are only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Spacious business class room with espresso machine and a kingsize bed. Free newspapers, free coffee, non-alcoholic beverages and fruitbasket in the lounge on each business class floor. We booked a standard room but nevertheless got a business room. Check-in took quite a long time but then again it was rush-hour on a Saturday. We got a, although a little bit worn out, 5-star hotel smack dab in the middle of Brussels for the price of a two-star one. Great value!!!Didn't have breakfast but it was expensive at 30 eur/pp. Had a sufficient breakfast in a small bistro nearby for 6 eur/pp.
I was really pleased with the hotel; we had a superb room and the service was excellent. We would most certainly use the hotel again.
Terrific location in Brussels just minutes from the Grand Place and many of the sights the city has to offer. From the exterior, the building looks like it has seen better days but inside it is lovely and very well-maintained. Price online was terrific but the cost of food/breakfast in the hotel is unbelievably high. Still, there are no shortage of sandwich shops/cafes within walking distance so you don't have to eat there.
The staff were very polite and very helpful. The room was was extremly comfortable and had all the extras needed, especially if you are attending meetings e.g. iron, hairdryer.
