although it was far out it was very easy to get into town by catching a bus that comes every 4-7 minutes or a train that came every minute

Hotels rooms are extremely small. Bathroom also, when you step out of shower, the sink is on top of you. No room in bathroom to dry yourself off. Book in rooms ahve food menus which state sandwiches are availabel 24hrs a day, when asked at reception, they said not available. Bar was never open. Staff are very nice though when I asked if I could geta galss of water, was told they had no access to tap water but could sell me a bottle for 3.75pounds

Hotel was clean and convenient for where we wanted to be. The room wasn't big, but OK for a short stay. Bathroom was good and quite new. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. We had continental and there wasn't much choice. Overall, though, we would stay there again.

First hotel i have booked who take the payment on booking from your credit card without telling you and saying this is normal business practice--which it is not!Staff at the hotel were extremely unhelpful, booking in procedure was confused and extremely slow. There was a large party booked in because of a family wedding in Highgate and not one person would ever reccommend the hotel. Rooms were clean but freezing. Windows were open and heating oon so low as to be not worth it. On phoning to ask questions staff were decidedly unhelpful.

The Reception area and Flutes Restaurant were very modern, but I felt the stairs and corridors to the rooms seemed shabby, the room itself was a good size with a very large and comfortable bed, the kettle in the room didn't work though. Breakfast was excellent, only stayed for one night but would stay again and would recommend. Location was excellent for the Alexandra Palace.
