"This resort is getting a bit tired and dated and not too clean. There were plastic bottles and wrappers amongst the plants around our entrance to the room. It is such a good location but disappointing for the price. I selected the more expensive hotel expecting something special for the price. I would have done better to have chosen one of the less expensive options. I know where I'll stay on my next visit." - Frank Fox
"The location is very nice: most of the common facilities (restaurant, pool, spa) are on the West Railay beach, which is much better than the East Railay. The privacy cottages were very cool: private enough to walk around naked in the private yard and the interior is very spacious. No Wi-Fi or any other Internet access in the rooms, though, but the Wi-Fi in the restaurant is free for guests and works reasonably well." - Anonymous
"This place is really a tale of two hotels: 1) a backpacker inn, 2) a luxury resort. If you're looking for something a bit upscale, the privacy cottages are absolutely unreal - better accomodation than many other 4 star resorts in thailand at a fraction of the cost, but beware of the garden view cottages, they are very basic." - Anonymous
"staff spoke very little English. Service was understaffed and slow. The grounds are maintained in mediocre fashion. The rooms frequently smelled of sewage, as did the grounds. The restaurant food was tasteless, expensive, with the most bumbling inattentive wait staff I've ever witned." - Brad Engwall
