Ramada Encore Hotel Dandenong

I stayed at this hotel overnight for business in Dandenong and was very impressed. The free secure car parking was great and I was pleasantly surprised when the staff member checking me in told me I was entitled to a free breakfast (which was buffet style and quite impressive) that was not listed on the room info when I booked! The room was spotless and my only criticism was the layout of the shower in my room allowed water to run out into the bathroom. The hotel was located within a stone's throw of the local shopping centre whcih offered loads of choice for food and entertainment. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel looks brand new although over 5 years old, very well maintained and looks good and fresh. Staff are excellent and very friendly. Rooms are a reasonable size and well equipped for the business and casual stay, bathrooms are spacious and very clean. Undercover secure FREE parking. All in all excellent value for money

Rooms are based on European minimal sytle but very comfortable. This is my second stay and I will use it again if in the area

Though the Ramada was a handy place to stay, the draw back of no parking to access the check in counter, major bus stop right outside, was an issue. The staff upon arrival were friendly and efficient. The room was very quiet and safe, the facilities in the room and the bed were very good. The hotel's locality to the centre of Dandenong allowed for easy access to the shopping precinct. We felt on departure that the time spent at the hotel represented good value for the money

No bar fridge, only wine cooler. Staff were very helpful (Jason)

The Hotel was clean and modern, but lacked in customer service upon arriving. The staff gave us a disability room, which clearly didn't make our stay comfortable & when they were made aware of this issue, offerred no assistance to resolve. The Hotel staff were very nice on departure, but lacking in numbers to handle people checking out. Overall the Hotel is in wonderful position & we had a fantastic bed, but the Hotel needs a review of customer service to improve, such as No meal menu in Hotel rooms. The Hotel Elevator is a bit rugged in operation & l would suggest needs a service - so please check it out I hope this helps the Hotel to improve management & customer service. Good luck.

It was great in that it is right in the middle of an area that has been crying out for a better-updated facility . . . and this is it . . .

This was a very cleverly designed hotel. Off-road parking in a covered, locked garage was very convenient. The modern, tastefully appointed bedroom was very inviting and spotless throughout: crisp white sheets, quality flat-screen TV, a comfortable mattress and a powerful, hot shower. Breakfasts were substantial and stress-free. Staff were exceptionally friendly, cheerful and helpful at all times. A most enjoyable stay at a very reasonable price.

Very "minimalist" in every sense of the word except price. Rooms rather cold (no carpet) but good fit out. Cafe style food, limited menu, no room service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would probably stay again if rate was a bit better.

No mini-fridge! Customer service was excellent.
