"My husband and I stayed for 2 nights,we had a superior room, the view to the gardens was lovely. The bed was not very superior though! I had to ask for breakfast tea as only herbal was supplied in the room. Also there seemed to be ration on bath towels,one in bathroom and one packed in plastic bag,in case was needed, strange as there were two of us in the room. Health suite was nice all needs catered for. Breakfast ok,same for evening meal" - vernon hillier

Getting there: From the M5
Exit M5 at junction 11 and head for Gloucester/Cirenceter on the A40 dual carriageway. At the first roundabout take the second exit, Cirencester A417, and the third exit at the next roundabout, Gloucester A38. At the next roundabout, with the Birds Eye Walls factory on the right, take the second exit, Gloucester A38. Go straight through three sets of traffic lights and take the first exit at the roundabout, Painswick B4073.Go through one set of traffic lights and when you see two petrol stations opposite each other, take the next right into Matson Lane, signposted Ski Centre/Golf Course. At the next roundabout take the second exit. After a sharp left corner, the Ski centre becomes visible on the right and the hotel and country club is immediately opposite.
