A well located hotel which I found very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
There was a very bad smell coming out from on-suit/toilet from sump/exhaust. Complained about it and was provided with air freshner.
The location is perfect within a couple of hundred meters from the station and a short walk from the city center. Internet was only free in the lobby as using it in the room cost extra.
excellant position in central Bristol walking distance to shopping centre and more. If you wanted to visit Bath this is the place to stay if you have a car. Comfortable bed, good linen, swimming pool and small gym. I would probably rate this as 33/4 stars only for the average cleanliness.
Location in the centre. Parking (at cost) next to the hotel. Excellent breakfast. G.M.W. Acda 17-09-2009
1st room I checked into lamp didn't work so I was moved to another room, 2nd room just about to go to sleep and the lampshade fell off! Would suggest that an upgrade of their fittings would be in order, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the positioning of the hotel was excellent close to both the train station and "the Mall" which was a great shopping centre, closest that I have come to an "Aussie" westfield type centre. Overall room and bathroom were clean just if fittings moved ( i.e when getting 2nd lamp fixed with a roll of sticky tape!) then lolly wrappers were found. Bed was extremely comfortable and room nice and quiet, access to fresh milk would have improved my stay rather than uht milk as a 4 star would have felt that was something that could be done, a tad picky, maybe, on my part , but would definately recommend staying here maps freely available to assist you to find attractions etc and staff very willing to point them out and generally help in any way they could.
The motel is a little hard to find but this is mainly due to the one way streets in Bristol. The motel is a little tired but only slightly. Beds are great. Staff are good. Car Parking is 5 pounds for a 24 hour period (not daily). Very close to Bristol Temple Meads train station. Overall good experience.
Well situated hotel with friendly staff. One trivial negative-breakfast room very gloomy.Good value.
Excellent hotel, very well positioned, can't fault.
Ideally situated within the city centre and just a short walk to the waterfront area. the staff were very helpful and comprehensive maps to the city centre were freely available. The room was of a good size, clean, quiet and stylishly decorated. The breakfast was fairly pricey so we declined this and ate at at one of the waterfront cafes. We used the pool, which was smallish but clean, and we had it to ourselves. The pool was accessed through the gym, which appeared crammed into a corridor-like room. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, have no complaints and would use the hotel again.
very nice hotel, well presented, clean and tidy rooms. Quick and easy check in/out!! would definateyl stay here again.
First time visiting this hotel. Facilities were good. Car parking on site was a bonus.
Hotel staff were friendly accomodated us with a quiet room slept well and facilities were good. Bar meals were expensive .Did not get a chance to experience the restaurant. Would definitely use hotel again.
Ideal hotel for an overnight stay.
Ideal location for railway station, shortish walk into town. Paid extra for buffet breakfast, which was expensive for a cooked breakfast. Staff friendly and helpfull. Had evening meal which was well presented, tasty and better than many hotel restaurant meals.
Very smokey in main reception area as open plan bar right next to it, there was a wedding reception on and the air was visibly hazey with smoke. Leisure club facilities poorly laid out -sauna and steam room at one end of the gym and pool at the other end. Gym very hot ,humid due to this with no ventilation.
The room was lovely and the staff very helpful.
Lovely hotel, very new and clean. The rate given to me at check in was incorrect and it took some time at check out to get the problem resolved. Reception staff not that helpful. Bar staff very friendly
Not much to look at from the outside, The roads are a bit of an urban sprawl but I suppose that is to be expected. Staff were very pleasant. The room was nice but not overly so, the corridoors were above average with some marble. Bar area ok. Dining room very good. Pool and gym facility adequate.
Small rooms. Pool small. Beds hard.
