"Had an enjoyable stay, however the room we was allocated was a little scuffy, ie the bathroom was worn out especially for a 4* hotel and was placed in a room over viewing the carpark which was a little noisy due to a wedding function / birthday parties etc. Overall had a nice time in Chester. "Reception staff pleasant enough but I was not pleased that breakfast was not included in the relatively high price I had paid for the stay. Another £8 per person for breakfast ! Rooms are strangely claustrophobic, low ceilings and small, I've stayed in roomier travelodges. Hotel is about 1 1/2 miles out of Chester so just about walkable. Overall ok but not what I expect from a Ramada, more like a budget chain with the high price of a prestige chain. No way is this a 4* experience. If you are looking for a special weekend away look elsewhere." - derek morris
"A good hotel just out of the centre of Chester. Ideally placed for the Park and Ride about 100 m away and very convenient to use as it drops you in the centre of Chester so no worries about parking.
Hotel facilities very good - Restaurant a bit pricey so we eat out but breakfast was good and good value if you book when checking in.
The room we had was small (standard) but was fine for a weekend and was clean with tea/coffee facilites. Staff all very friendly - overall a good experience." - Anonymous
"A pleasant hotel except for having to pass through people smoking to get in the main entrance- not a good first impression.Food prices a little on the expensive side therefore we went out for our evening meal, but the breakfast was good value. leisure facilities were very good as were check in/out.I would use this hotel again.
