"The Room was warm (if a little shabby), the bed was comfortable, the water was hot (although the mildew on the ceiling was a little worrying!) and the breakfast was ok. What let this hotel down was the utterly dreadful service! The lady who cleaned my room was lovely, but the bar, resturant and front desk staff were not just difficult they were downright rude in some cases. The resturant food was horrid, if you have to stay here I would recommend the "Staging Post" pud for great service and excellent food." - Sara Burgess

"Cold water tap in bath/shower didn't work. Not very pleasant as water was hot! Didn't look as if it had just happened. Had no one else reported this? Receptionist in the morning said she would arrange to get it sorted. Otherwise good value for such a central location. Will go back." - Anonymous
