Getting there:From the M1 Take junction 21 off the M1. The M69 leads into the junction 21 roundabout. Follow the A5460 towards Leicester. After approximately two miles the dual carriageway becomes a single lane. When you see a BP Petrol Station on the right, pull into the right hand lane in readiness to turn right at the next set of traffic lights into Upperton Road. Follow signs for the City and after approximately a mile you will come to a ''T'' junction, with the Royal Infirmary on the left hand side and Tiger''s rugby ground ahead. Move into the right hand lane and follow the traffic to the left. Now follow the signs for the railway station and turn right at the next set of traffic lights. Pull into the left hand lane to turn left into Waterloo Way, again following the sign for the railway station. Go through three sets of traffic lights and the railway station will be on your right hand side. At the fourth set bear left into Granby Street.

A great warm welcome from the reception staff. Enjoyed my short stay. Fantastic location in the city centre with ampel parking. One negative very thin walls, noise from next room and people walking past did wake me during the night and early in the morning.
Average hotel for the price. Location is good. Lots of places to eat nearby.
Very central and good car park at £5 per day. We had some time to kill and used the hotel as a base to see the "sights of Leicester" Ok, it's not a tourist town but it has some interesting bits. Would recommend this hotel.

They did not have safe box in the room or in the hotel.
The front of the hotel overlooked a pedestrian precinct and bars but none of the windows had double glazing. It was incredibly noisy all through the night even on the 3rd floor. I called reception to see if we could change rooms but they claimed all the rooms were already booked. Apart from that everything else in the hotel was fine.

Excellent Location, right in the centre of Leicester, but overall I was a little disappointed considering it's four star hotel.
Room service non existent. I guess the stay wasn;t helped by a fire alarm in the middle of the night, but room service was shocking, they didn't have a record of my booking through [your website] and i was lucky enough to get the LAST roome they had. An interesting stay!
A very old hotel in the city centre so rather noisy.Only one receptionist who was rather disinterested in any request and very busy Sunday checking everyone out.
An ideal, centrally positioned hotel. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff.
We had a wonderful weekend and our stay Leicester made it perfect.
