Clean, friendly and efficient. However, considering that you pay roughly the same at the Rihga Royal and get so much more for your money, it was a bit of a disappointment.
I enjoyed my stay at Ramada Hotel Osaka, and would highly recommend the hotel to others who stay in Osaka. It is very convenient to get around. The room is very small - anyway it is what you expect in Japan, but it is compact. I would definitely stay there again next time if I go there.

Room was a little small and too hot.
Nice hotel close to the heart of the town and walking distance to subway lines even from Kyoto!
One of the better hotels I've stayed at. The hotel is very clean, the restaurants are superb. Staff are very friendly and helpful, fantastic hotel for the price. I would definitely come back here.
friendly staff and easy to get to
We arrived at 11am and was told to come back in the afternoon to check in. Was a bit disappointed as it was cold and all we could do was go for a walk in the park about 200 metres away.Apart from that everything else was good.
We stayed 3 nights. We arrived about 2 hours before check in time.. we had been travelling for 24 hours and the hotel found a room we could occupy straight away. The hotel is within walking distance of many affordable restaurants featuring local cuisine. Close to the city on a good rail link.
Half way between Osaka station & Shin Osaka station. The hotel has direct access to the subway which also connects these two stations but this subway (like all subways) are not included in the JR Pass so there is a cost of about 200 yen. Great for those looking to be close to the transport system but none of Osaka sights are close to the hotel.
The hotel is very good, with a reasonable location two subway lines from the Shin Osaka station, which in my case was a big plus. The price of the breakfast remains the main negative point - but the Family Mart on the corner provides a solution to this one.
Expensive Hotel as much of Japan. The location was perfect next to subway. Room was comfortable but I had to change room once on the Non Smoking floor as I could smell smoke.
Room & bed is rather small but it is convinence to the subway in quiet area not far from most of shopping area. It is ok to stay for 2-3 days.
The location of the hotel is very good for those using the subway- very visible and convenient. Staff are very helpful and speaks good english. Room are small but reasonable and comfortable. Free internet access helps. I would stay in this hotel again.
Clean, convenient location, quiet. Recommended!
The room is relatively large in Japanese standard, and it is clean and tidy as can be expected of most Japanese hotels. Although it is one subway station from Umeda which is one of the most popular tourist spot in Osaka, Ramada is right in front of exit 2 of that station and is therfore very convenient, though there are not many things to see in the vicinity. You need to travel to Umeda to shop.
Location is good as it is right up of the subway station. But, there is some noise coming from the washroom where you will be distrubed while you are sleeping. It will be better if you shut the washroom door.
Convenient location, about 10 minutes walk to Osaka Station or directly connecting to a metro station one stop from Osaka Station. Clean room with all the usual amenities provided. Good service, and staff spoke some English, which was a bonus! Many convenience stores located nearby.
a great location close to everything you need eateries trainns shops etc. walking distance from osaka.
good location and ok price. Room is clean.
Had been staying in the Toyoko-Inn chain up to the Ramada. Paid twice as much for the Ramada and frankly while the pluses were the slightly larger room, free internet in my room and a later check-out it really wasn't worth the extra money.
