This is a good hotel except the location is not easily assessable through the GuangZhou-East station. The exit signs (J) is not easy to locate, if u missed it, you have to walk >800 meters. It is not 100 meters away between hotel and station, may be 500-600m. Staffs are friendly and facility are clean. You must book in advance to have a good price.

The service at the front desk was poor. Of the the four receptionists only one appeared to be doing any work. We didn't even get shown to our room!
It was a pleasant stay and they upraded me for free on the executive level and it was superb. Very reasonably priced the only downfall is the location.
english at the reception is very poor
WE found the staff were very friendly and helpful especially in the Grand Cafe. However on check-in there was confusion over the inclusion of 2 breakfasts. We believed the booking included both but as the booking sheet stated 'including breakfast' (singular) the young staff at reception seemed to have some difficulty with this. I believe it was a lack of understanding of the English language. The floor manager intervened and we had 2 breakfasts included.
Location is a bit far from city but the price of the superior room make up for it. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel also serves good Cantonese cuisine. Staff is well-mannered and response quickly to our request. Very reasonable price for a 5-star hotel.
the hotel was magnificent value for money and is first class in all areas except the staff could have had a slightly better level of english everything else was great
