Getting there:From Dublin- Join the M1 At M50, branch Left (signposted M50 Southbound) and at Roundabout take the 3rd exit M50 Leave motorway (signposted Limerick) and take the 3rd exit M7 (signposted The South). Take left hand lane to join Motorway M9 (signposted Waterford) Follow M9 all the way to Waterford Cable Bridge, go through the toll. After the toll bridge, take the first exit. At the first exit, you will approach a roundabout, take the first exit, at next roundabout take the the first exit, at next roundabout take second exit and at the next roundabout take the first exit. The hotel is located 100 meters on the right between the BMW and Mercedes Garages

Child Policy:Child up to 12 years can stay free in the hotel sharing a room with paying adults on a room only basis. All meals are extra.
The hotel was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel staff were fery friendly and helpful. Was great to have free parking for our car.
A mix up re booking details was sorted out at reception. Breakfasts were good and rooms are spacious. Driving in and out of the city, from the hotel, was very easy, with light traffic. Car parks in the city are clearly indicated and in good time. In this respect, Waterford is a model and a lovely city.

Difficult to find better value in this country. Staff was brillant, bedroom very spacious, could use the wi fi for free, car park was free, could have coffee and tea in the bedroom for free...will go again if I plan to go to Waterford again. Was better value than a hostel!
Location was good for this trip as I had a business meeting close to the hotel - a bit far out from town though, you would not walk into town. Great breakfast, above average for hotels in this price-range.

Stayed in the Ramada Viking Hotel Waterford on two occasions in the past few months. Found the hotel to provide a very comfortable room with excellent bar facilities providing tasty food at a very reasonable price. Excellent breakfast - great variety of food. Will definitely stay there again.
Nice clean new hotel. Only problem is the outlook. It is right in the middle of a load of car dealers.

Very good restraunt service
Large hotel room which was spotless and well equipped. Location is near on outskirts of Waterford in a retail park surrounded by car showrooms. May not be suitable for visitors without their own car. On the first morning for breakfast I requested poached eggs. There was a very long wait, my husband had nearly finished his breakfast before they arrived. I had to ask another waiter to check on the delay and finally they arrived. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the food in the bar was lovely and very reasonable. I would stay there again.

A nice, new hotel which was at a good value rate. Fairly isolated on the outskirts of Waterford on an industrial estate with car showrooms and industrial units the only neighbours.

We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel very much, mostly because of the excellent bedroom and most importantly the wonderful staff who were always smiling and helpful. These days this can be hard to find.
