"My husband and I stayed at the Amara in October 2007. We chose this hotel as it was out of the central district and much quieter as our friends had complained about the noise in city hotels.
There was a shuttle to take us to the markets or other areas as well as transfers to and from the airport.
The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The meals were very good and reasonable in price. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of dishes to choose from.
The Concierge staff were excellent. They were incredibly helpful in making bookings for Tours, Shows(Water Puppet) and Dinner reservations at outside venues. Room service was very good and laundry was exceptional.
We have already reccommended this hotel to friends. Stayed twice ourselves and would be happy to stay here again on our next trip.
