Ramblas Hotel Barcelona

I needed an additional evening and was charged less at the front dest than what Orbits charged me for the origianl nights stay. Very little english spoken and was not able to get directions to locations or recommendations for places to eat. Room was clean but room security could be an issue to others.

The room was clean and was the only one with hardwood floors instead of carpet. I actually liked it better because of that. It was small but adequate (you don't go on vacation to stay in the room). The real problem was the noise from the street below. The hotel is well located (right on La Ramblas) but the noise from the street at night makes it impossible to sleep. The breakfast was good. The staff at the hotel was helpful but only grudgingly so--it always seemed to be an imposition when we asked a question.

Exellent location, close to Metro - Port - market and other scenic spots. Breakfast was ok and the staff was friendly and helpful. It´s a 3-star Hotel and gives ok value for the money. The noise from las Ramblas was at this time of the year (nov.) not a problem though the weather was fantastic (23 C), and there where many people in the street all night.

The air conditioner was not working. The windows didn't lock and there was a stain on the ceiling indicating there was water linkage before. The hotel was clean and in a good location though

Frontdesk helpful. Breakfast OK. Change of the coffe-machines would be welcomed. Good balance of price/facilities. Recommandable/

We didnt make breakfast any morning, but heard it wasnt great by a couple in our group. It was a bit noisy in the hotel (showers, toilets, pipes etc),but price reflects that. The shower was a bit cold then boiling hot. Its adequate for a place to stay at the price, if you need a place to put your head. Be very careful on streets from pickpockets - especially female ones at night.

The hotel is in a fantastic location right in the middle of the busy street Las Ramblas. The staff were both friendly and helpful and our hotel room and bathroom was very clean and well presented. I will definately be looking to stay there again for my next trip to Barcelona.

Could get a bit noisy and had some weird elevator shaft thing in each room (wouldn't recommend it if staying with kids for that reason), other then that, good location (once you get over how sleezy La Rambla becomes at night), nice breakfast and reasonable price

I arrived late at night, the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Location was amazing and I had a top floor room with a huge balcony from which I could watch night life on the Ramblas with a great view of the city. Bed was comfortable and bathroom well equipped and provisioned. Wifi would have been good had I been staying longer. Breakfast was plentiful with a reasonable variety. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone for a comfortable and well appointed stay at the heart of Ramblas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and found the desk staff exceptionally helpful. Our only complaint is that the restaurant was not open for dinner in the evenings at this time of year (it was one reason we had picked the hotel); but breakfast was excellent. The location is ideal for access to the old town.

Really enjoyed our stay, Hotel was very central straight out the door and your on the Ramblas. near all the shops, tapa bars and some really lovely restaraunt make sure to go to 4 Cats and another good one is El Convent, the Marina is another lovely place to go in the evening.If you have time make sure to fit in a visit to La Roca Retail Outlet.

Excellent central location ideal for short visit. Friendly, helpful staff and clean comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. I would definately stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the middle of La Ramblas which is in the heart of the city. The location may not be suitable for families with young children as there are a few night clubs nearby, though we went with two children and did not have any problems. The rooms were clean and the service was good.

This was an ideal location for both me and my young son. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was a bit frantic and busy but again the staff kept everything topped up no matter how busy things got! Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was not very good at all but the rest was fine.

Good location on La Rambla, average facilities with helpful and friendly staff, however on the downside is the noise level from traffic, groups of revellers, and refuse collection vehicles in the small hours.

Very Good location, for walking or departure point to all important sights in Barcelona.
