Enjoyed stay very much. The staff are all very kind and friendly, Common room and kitchen was spacious. I'll stay here again next time.

Had a very comfortable stay. Room nice and warm for a cold winter ski trip. Only negative was we kept having to ask for more toilet roll.

The premium rooms are good value and reasonably appointed, the less expensive rooms are sparten but all are comfortable and warm! The service at the desk is friendly and helpful.

it is a backpackers hotel if youa are not fussy about the where you sleep. it is away from town if you walk but if you have car it is ok.

For a group of golfers down for the weekend we found Reavers suited our requirements and would use again.

Finding this place made my trip. The only thing I had booked upon landing in Queenstown was a car. I drove into town, went to an internet café, and found The Reaver Lodge was one of the cheapest, so I booked it. A gentleman named Anderson was at the front desk. He took well over an hour between checking people in to help me plan my next five days in New Zealand. He booked my tours, my speed-boats, told me the pros and cons of driving verses taking guided tours, and found me lodging for the tail end of my trip that saved me $180! In fact ALL the staff was amazingly helpful and generous with their time. The Lodge itself maintains a young boisterous crowd from around the world. If a secluded quiet getaway is what you’re looking for, this may not be the place for you. But if you want to meet fellow travelers, get advice from people who know the area and are not trying to sell you anything, and hang out with a cool dog named Frank, I would HIGHLY recommend it!

Room itself is clean & basic, but note that there's no daily service to clean the room. Friendly staff & 15 mins walk to city center. Can't complain for the price I paid. The climb up to the lodge, really gives you a good workout if you're not driving. Cleanliness of public areas like laundry room & kitchen, is dependent on the residents who use them.

A little way from the middle of town but an easy walk. The lofts triple does have a very low ceiling above the mezzanine but bed was comfortable and views are great.

Rather steep climb and the view was not so good I expected. Slightly pricey comparing to other places in Southern Island, but likely ok in Queenstown.

The rooms are subject to noise disturbance from left, right, front above and below. Strength is required to climb up to the gate if you walk.

You get what you pay for, good motel style rooms evrything you need for 1 or 2 nights stay. Nice common room with sky movies. bonus.

Completely enjoyed my stay. Reception was warm and friendly. helped with all enquires! Rooms are a good size and all facilities were very good to use. Would reccommend and stay there again. 5*s :)

Great location 10 min walk from city centre, and 5 min walk from the gondola. Beautiful views looking towards the Remarkables: a great way to wake up in the morning. Facilities were also good. the staff gave good advice and were exceedingly helpful and friendly.
