Red Cedars is easy to find and convenient to all parts of Canberra within 30 minutes drive. It is set in a quiet and leafy northern suburb a short drive from shops and the CBD. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, room clean and modern with good amenities and a very comfortable bed. A return visit is assured.

on arrival staff were very friendly and we joked and laughed about the day we both had was very pleasing and will stay at this venue again and again
Rm 130 is located beside an external stairwell. The foot traffic of guests can be unnecessarily noisy. A permanent sign asking for quietness and due consideration for other guest might be helpful. Reception and housekeeping were attentive.
Very good for the money and would bebetter if there was any hot water in the morning for a shower!
A nice place to spend a night, although the room smelled heavily of cleaning products when we first arrived. People were very friendly. Reasonable rates, no problems..
I cannot understand why they will provide a room with a queen size bed, 2 twins and 1 double bunker but does not allow more than 2 persons to stay. They charge us an additional AUD18 for an additional person. If I had known, I would not have booked the family room. Would have saved myself AUD10 if I had booked the normal room.
Red Cedars was an adequate low budget stay. Freindly staff but not so much attention to detali. The remains of someone else's party was left on the balcony.
Friendly and helpful staff made our trip really enjoyable. The location is really quiet and there were restaurants and a small shopping centre with a Woolworths less than 10 minutes away. Also a small local shopping centre with an IGA. We had a room with a kitchenette which suited us as a family. Both of the children had such a good time that they didn't want to go home. We would not hesitate to stay with Red Cedars again.

We found the motel to be well situated in being situated a block back from the main road leading into Canberra and not far from the City centre. The motel staff were very friendly and the room warm and comfortable with all the expected features. The showers were particularly good. We would certainly stay again and recommend it to friends.
Very nice service. Great location very peacefull and quiet. Really comfortable beds. Very close to good food places for dinner and it was easily found of a main road, whilst still feeling like it was far from the traffic and noise, I will stay here again!

Staff friendly and helpful - I notified them I would be ariving late - and there was a light on in the room for me. Great.
Great to arrive to a clean and airy and comfy room with all facilities after a long day. Home away from home. Very clean and quiet location. Not in centre but that doesn't matter. It took me 10 minutes to drive from Art Gallery to it. Will definitely stay here again. I. Brady
