Clean, out of town but handy with a car, or the tram stop is just outside. Nice steakhouse with great food and beer. Breakfast in room was not always sizzling hot but was nice. Easy to organise a late check out. Happy enough.
My wife being a non smoker found that the room was quite badly smelling of smoke. I smoke but normal rooms that are smoking rooms in hotels have a nutralised smell to them which makes them acceptable to non smokers. Even myself being the smoker commented on the stale cigarette smell each time we entered the room. The hotel itself is very pleasent with nice staff. The food at this hotel and including the Red Cow Inn is excellant in terms of quality and cost (conpared to cost in the ROI). I did find the cost of coke and alcohol excessive but then this is the ROI and its expected. We would definatly use the hotel again as it is well appointed for the cost in relation to other hotels in the area that we have previously stayed in.
Stayed for 1 night as we were going to a gig in Dublin city centre. Hotel is ideally located for drivers who dont want to drive into city centre to find a hotel, you can simply leave your car and either get the luas or taxi into town. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and modern however we found it unbearably hot in the room and had to leave for town early just to escape. There appeared to be 'air con' in the room however when set to full and cool, there wasnt any difference to room temp. As it was unseasonably hot for a standard Irish summer, this is probably a rare issue, however it would make me look elsewhere for our next stay in Dublin in order to compare hotels.
The staff were really very friendly and the hotel itself was very Child Friendl.
Although a little hard to access due to road works and the Luas line is a good 10-15 minutes walk, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The standard of rooms are well above average in size and facilities. The restaurant provides an excellent variety of good food for both dinner and breakfast at a very competitive price. The weekend we stayed there were over 300 guests but you'd never have known it with the efficient way everyone was served. The staff are extremely helpful and well informed to assist guests on many queries re travel, events, etc. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are driving to Dublin and do not want to stay directly in the centre of the city.
the staff were very friendly and helpful nice place to stay
Staff were very friendly. Meal on the Saturday night was lovely. I would stay again.
Having stayed here a number of times when on business i would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone.
I thought the service was outstanding - above the level of many 5 star hotels. The restaurant was also excellent
food was not great accomadation was grand pricing was good through [your website]
As usual the staff at The Red Cow, Dublin have excelled themselves in their levels of service and support. My stays at the hotel are always enjoyable and I look forward to staying there again in March.
Very nice hotel situated near Tallaght on Luas. Good food but dear. Bar average. Rooms confortable. As it is someway from city centre, considered very pricy.
I booked through on line company and paid significantly higher price for basic hotel accomadation, was not value for money in relation to other avenues phoning hotel direct to book!
the hotel was great, and everything that i had expected it to be like. i would recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel, a decent way outside the city centre if you don't have a car but only 30 minutes on the very clean, efficient Luas system (Tram) with a stop only 2 minutes walk from the hotel right into the city centre. Great rooms, great atmosphere, no complaints at all.
