Staied here during or trip to Disneyland. Really liked being able to leave the car until midnight and take the shuttle to Disneyland.
I am the type of person who usually stays in economy hotels to save money. However, this hotel was just $20 more per night and has been newly renovated to be much nicer than an economy hotel. For me, it was worth the extra $20 per night to get a lot more comfort. Plus, the hotel was within walking distance from Disneyland, so we didn't have to worry about traffic, parking, or lot shuttles. I would definitely stay there again if the rates remain reasonable.
THE ROOM HAS 2 DOUBLE BEDS, HAIRDRYER IN THE BATHROOM, IRON/IRONING BOARD IN THE CLOSET,COFFEE MAKER, AND INN ROOM MOVIES AND NINTENDO FOR A FEE.
MUY BUEN HOTEL Y MUY CERCA DE DISNEY, PUEDE UNO CAMINAR AL PARQUE Y LAS INSTALACIONES ESTÁN MUY BIEN, LA HABITACIÓN EXCELENTE
The hotel is pretty nice. You can tell they've upgraded the furnishings and the bathroom fixtures, but the wallpaper keeps the room pretty dated. Also, I would not recommend this location if you want to sleep in. After a long evening at Disneyland the night before, we were awoken by children in the hallways starting at 7:30 am. Its a Disneyland adjacent hotel though, so its to be expected. We asked about a shuttle to Disneyland and the staff didn't know, so that was unfortunate. We walked to the park from the hotel, which wasn't too bad. One of the Disney staff members was able to assist us in finding the correct shuttle on the way back. Based on what we paid, it was definitely worth the money.
We had a nice experience staying at your hotel. We did not have a problem doing a late check in since we came all the way from Sacramento. Customer Service was very accommodating.
Upon checking in, I was informed of a $14 parking fee. This was not included in my confirmation email providing me with my total expenses. When you arrive, you just have to suck it up and pay the $14. The floor of the room needed vacuuming and I could smell some fragrance on my bedding that was not from the laundry. More like perfume from a previous guest. No remote for the TV. Bar soap for sink and shower, but that's about it. Be sure and bring your own munchies. No vending machines other than soda. Room next door with several amped up kids bouncing off the walls until about 11:30.
Much better than expected. Only thing I would have wanted is: 1.) should have stated $14 parking clearly up front, 2.) motion sensitive light kept turning on in the middle of the night when I had to use the bathroom- I don't like to be blinded, what about a night-light? 3.) no jacuzzi But was actually closer to the park than the parking lot we normally park in. Beautiful rooms, nice staff, safe feeling. very clean, very new, very well appointed.
This hotel was great for the price we paid. The rooms were really nice and so comfortable! They only problem we had was with the air condition but we got that fixed on the first night. The staff were also great! They were really helpful :) I would definitely stay here again.
I recommend upgrading to the "fireworks" view room - these are top floor rooms that are extremely clean with new furniture and electronics. (and, as of November 2011, the cost was only ~5% of a run-of-the-house rate). The hotel staff was extremely professional and courteous at all times. The in-hotel restaurant prepares excellent Italian food with a minimal charge for in-room delivery. We would definitely stay at this Red Lion again!
The place is accessible to Garden Walk. The Hotel room is okay. Needs a little bit of cleaning in the bathroom floor. The small refrigerator is not working well, water or sodas do not get cold. Per Hotel's website, there is complimentary breakfast but when I checked out, I was charged with the 3 days breakfast. The explanation was that I booked with a third party.
The room was very nice and very clean. The kids liked the pool. There are a lote places to eat in the area. The trip was very good well all liked it very much.
Our visit at the Red Lion in Annehiem, Ca was very relaxing. Very comfortable room and always well stocked. After full days at Disneyland it was our own little quiet oasis. The staff were the most curtious of any staff we have ever encountered at a hotel.
Overall, it was a very good experience. No free breakfast.
Love the contemporary modern decor the location to Disneyland and the lounge patio pool area. Dislike the pillows ( super flimsy and non supportive to the neck. Like sleeping on a rolled up towel) the beds were very rickty. And the walls were thin. You can hear all your neighbors movements. So if youre a light sleeper it will be difficult to rest. Note our last day I did find one small bed bug crawling on the blanket. I moved all the blankets and didn't notice anymore. We alerted the staff at our check out and they waived our parking few for the inconvenience.
My husband and I stayed here for our trip to Disneyland. I chose this hotel because of the free parking, breakfast and internet special that was offered. Loved our room. Newly refurbished with a fridge , microwave and coffe maker. TV was large flat screen and lots of towels. We took the ART transportation and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellant, hot buffet. Great value, would highly recommend this hotel.
one night, good location ,OK hotel............................ one night not much to say
Everything we expected, --AND MORE!! Close to Park, clean rooms, all the necessary amenities, friendly staff.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Our accommodations were wonderful. The room was extremely clean and the beds were more comfortable than I expected and we had a complimentary crib for my grandson. The bathroom was roomy, well lit, and very sanitary. The hotel also offers a great buffet breakfast until 10:00am and with our accommodations, breakfast was complimentary. Great selection of fruits, breads, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and pancakes, along with juices and coffee. And the walk to Disneyland was less than 5 minutes. We had a wonderful time!!
I was thinking the hotel was a little closer than 3 blocks from Disneyland's Main Gate, but it is not. I was not too disappointed, but I would definitely have preferred to have been close (Park Vue Inn). Additionally, there was no check-in parking or free shuttle.
This was my second stay at a Red Lion hotel, and it did not disappoint. Clean, nicely appointed room, staff were all very accomodating and pleasant. They went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Room service was prompt and reasonably priced. Highly recommend, and I will come here again.
