Redcliffe House is a beautiful old-world property offering modern facilities and appeals to travellers with a wide range of interests groups of friends, honeymooners, singles, small families, or couples. The property is just 1.5kms north of Swansea for guests who prefer to dine out but enjoy peace and serenity and a good nights sleep in a rural 1835 homestead, waking to a delicious full cooked breakfast. A lovely base from which to explore Tasmanias East Coast. The property has permanent waterholes in the Meredith River which are perfect for taking a dip on a warm summer's day. Redcliffe House is a non-smoking B&B - however, guests may smoke in the grounds.

Getting there:Equidistant from Launceston and Hobart Airports. From Hobart drive east to Sorell, then left to Buckland, Orford, past Triabunna and then to Swansea. Redcliffe House is 1.5kms north of Swansea township. From Launceston drive south to Campbell Town, turn left along the Lake Leake Highway. When you reach Tasman Highway, turn right towards Swansea. Please note, Tasman Highway is not a 'highway' as such, it is a two-lane coastal road.
Check-in Procedure:Check-in is between 2pm and 6pm. If earlier or later check-in is required, please contact us in advance. We have a Reception which is easy to find. If unattended, ring the bell by the door. Alternatively we will be in the gardens nearby.
Car parking:The grounds offer plenty of space for parking 100m from the main road.
Child Policy:Children in Wisteria over 14 years of age.
fantastic stay and the lovely couple that ran it were so nice and welcoming. the house was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and a great deal of thought had been put into little luxuries that you don't normally find in a hotel. breakfast was great and again the little things at the breakfast table made you feel special. i really recommend redcliffe as a beautiful, relaxing place to stay with a lovely garden and outlook over paddocks and river.
Great place so different from staying in a Hotel the hosts made us so welcome and couldn't be more accommading thanks for a wonderful stay would highly recommend!!!
