Getting there:Airport transfers can be arranged at a cost of AUD$22.00 per person, each way. Flight details must be provided at least 48 hours prior to arrival. For those guests arriving by private car, the directions are: From Cairns airport, turn right onto the Captain Cook Highway and follow for approx 20 mins. Just after Wild World the Tropical Zoo, turn right onto Vievers Road. Follow this road to the end, then turn left onto Williams Esplanade.

Child Policy:Children 0-14 yrs stay free of charge when sharing with one or more adult, using existing bedding. Rollaway beds are available at $40 per night (not available in Brigadier Rooms).
Nice Hotel, seemed compact with rooms centering round the pool area. Location is great, easy walk to other restaurants etc. Would stay again.
One night stay in Palm Cove for a wedding - so I didn't get to soak in the surrounds as much as I would have liked! The Sebel was great, though. Great location along the beachfront, with very large, spacious room. Loved the size of the bed and bathroom and the leafy layout of the hotel. The pictures of the hotel were an accurate reflection. My only gripe is with the voucher offer ($50 voucher for spa), the conditions of use weren't provided despite the offer being advertised through hotelclub.com. But in light of the good last minute rate I got, this is a small complaint.

We stayed at the Sebel Reef House in November 2009 and loved it. We had a wonderful holiday, so I guess it had a lot to live up to. This time our room was on the first floor and there was constant noise for the three days from the gurney cleaning the paths. They were also building steps into the pool so it was very uncomfortable to move about. We went to breakfast later one morning and the full selection was not available.
The Reef House is in a perfect location just meters from the beach. It's a beautiful, relaxing place to stay and the staff are helpful and friendly. The day spa treatments are something special and the spa staff go out of their way to take care of their clients. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Reef House and I would definitely stay there again.

This was one of the best holidays we have ever had. The staff at this hotel really made the experience memorable. Very personable, attention to detail was great and the food was another highlight. Great for that break from City madness.... This break was the re-boot we urgently needed. PS Loved the netting around our King size bed, the lovely complimentary punch, late night swimming.... could go on and on.Go now!
Service, location, cleanliness and facility were great!! We were expecting to have a bath tab or spa in the room...from that point we were bit disappointed. But except that point to staying the hotel was fab and quite valuable.

Overall, a lovely place to stay and a wonderful basis for a holiday for mature adults - rooms very nice, food great, pool etc really pleasant. Staff helpful and service is very good. The price is quite expensive The location is stunning. The rooms are well appointed, but it is clear that those who book through an online agency definitely get the second level views - ours overlooked the roof of an adjacent building. This was the only disappointment - but it is a significant one.
The hotel is one of those memorable places that will remain a postive memory for a long time. The food was fantastic - creative and distintly local/Australian - using an innovative balance of fresh ingredients. The spa is special - deserving of the top 10 rating for spa's. Rooms were spacious but make sure you get a verandah room! In a nutshell - a fantastic stay!!

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now.......the service is always friendly, caring and helpful....one always feels like they are coming home......it is nice to be recognized year after year. However, for a five star hotel, i think they should revise a few things...like cleanliness of bar, service around the pool area and cleanliness of rooms each day, including replacing glasses....otherwise....amazing.

We enjoyed from the moment we arrived. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when deciding on day tours. We had a Verandah Room which was very spacious and we enjoyed sitting out on our very own balcony with sundeck chairs and mini kitchen. We will be back!
The staff at this resort are genuinely pleased to look after you and made us feel more than welcome. The location of the resort on the Palm Cove "strip" and the meals served at the in-house restaurant are second to none. The self-service Brigadier Bar is also a unique and novel feature of this resort. Highly recommended.
Louise and I throughly enjoyed our week at the Sebel Reef House. Beautiful location and excellent facilities. The restaurant was superb and massages wonderful - perfect way to relax after a busy first half of the year.
The hotel and their restaurant are both fabulous! The service/facilities are good. The rooms are a bit older, but facilities are good like cd/dvd player etc. They offer DVD/CD/Books. We had a wonderful stay.
Palm Cove is a wonderful undiscovered secret in the Cairns area. This hotel definitely lived up to its description. I'd stay here again.
